Not correct!
BSc and BEd cannot be on the same step in civil service system.
Even BSc with masters cannot be on the same level with just a BSc, assuming they are on the same level definitely cannot be on the same step.
Therefore the entire 2013 teachers cannot all be on level 12 step 7 with total disregard to their qualifications and certifications.

I was privileged to see my payslip, it was stated level 12/6. 2013 teachers are in levels 12 and 13 being the highest with very few on 14 which was PhD then. So all 2013 can't be on the same steps and also some few persons used man -know -man to upgrade themselves to a step or two above others.

Good morning noble colleagues. Does it mean that no Senior Secondary School teacher in this forum has collected their promotion letters? Why are we hoarding information that could save others unnecessary stress? Abi na only salary matters we go dey reason for here?

Teachers that went there from Ogu/Bolo LGA were told that the letters are not ready,at first it was two conflicting memos on schedules for pick up ,they still went there ,only to be told it wasn't ready yet.

I learnt Tuesday the 10th of December 2024 has been declared Rivers State Teachers' Day to make up for the teachers day used to run the LGA Elections.
Can someone who knows someone clarify me on the above info and if that is true, are we all going to Port Harcourt?

Yes cos the new NUT building complex at Obiri Ikwerre flyover will be open and our Governor will be there live but for now we don't know if it's public holiday

And Grade level 12 step 7.

This is what I saw in my letters. I was formally Grade level 8 step 3.

we are not all on the same level ,pple who got this Job with masters are a level above us ,people who did education are a step above us too..their salary is bigger than our own,before the difference was 4k...I don't know how much now,people with masters are on level 13.…but we are all 2013 teachers

Those that started the job with 8 step 3 are now on 12 step 7
Those formally on 8 step 4 are now on 12 step 8.

We were treated according to your LGA.
Get ready for 10 copies of each of the 3sets of letters. And please go on time.

2 CONFIRMATION
3. STAFF ID CARD
4. LETTER OF CLEARANCE FROM YOUR PRINCIPAL
5. HIGHEST QUALIFICATIONS CERTIFICATE
6. ANY OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
