Whoopi Goldberg, the actress and comedian, was raised to believe that she had Jewish ancestry. However, in 2017, she took a DNA test that revealed that she was almost 100% of African descent. 70 percent of African American women are maternally Sub Saharan Africans. African American women represent the largest African DNA in the United States as only 10 percent of African American men have African paternal DNA. As I've shown above many African American men have white male paternal lineage around 85 percent of them. Neither are Israelites the women or the men and it can be a very hurtful thing because many of them believed it and hoped for it but ancestral DNA doesn't lie. Nothing wrong with being an African as we are all Noah's children. Doesn't matter if your foremothers were black or your lineage traces to a white male. Here's another one, singer and rapper Lauryn Hill had a false belief that she was Jewish until she took a DNA test that revealed her true ancestry. Another who covets being an Israelite but gets disappointed because ancestral DNA doesn't agree. Ms. Lauryn Hill whom is one of my favorite artists is Sub Saharan African. 70 percent of African American women are maternally Sub Saharan Africans. 20 percent of African American women are maternally white Caucasian women who somehow had a daughter line that emerged black from a black man impregnating her. 10 percent of African American women are maternally Indigenous Peoples or Native American whom sprang from a black man impregnating her maternal great grandmother. Additionally, around 10% of African American women have inherited Native American ancestry from a female Indigenous great-grandmother.

By contrast, African American men generally inherit more white paternal ancestry, with a percentage as high as 85%.

Only Mulatto and Creole women are around 50 to 60 percent African. And then there are some African American women who came from maternal white Caucasian and Native American women but we shall reveal them later.
