I am surprised I hear them advertise some Nigerian movies on Nigeria radio stations and I can't see them on Netflix from my location. Does anyone else encounter same and how did you overcome it?
Yeah, your location determines the content you see on netflix, and its base on producer and netflix agreement, locations are preset to movies

i notice VPn alter the contents i see, you might just switch locations on vpn and see which suffice

Don't watch Nigerian movies on Netflix.
I will rather watch some dedicated channels on youtube cos I know the money is going directly to them. Promote and support Nigerian made.

Yesterday, rumors circulated widely that Netflix was leaving Nigeria. Although Netflix has already debunked the claim, today their social media handler tweeted a meme saying, "I am going nowhere."

Nigerian media outlets should refrain from spreading fake news and taking statements out of context.

Biafra*ns always want to hear bad news about Nigeria but when bad news come from their 5-Plot Republic, they start living in self denial calling it fake news

News like MTN EXITS NIGERIA, SHOPRITE EXITING NIGERIA SOON, NETFLIX PLANNING TO EXIT NIGERIA, LUFTHANSA ABANDONS NIGERIA make them happy.

This is bad news for them
Tribalist, how did you quickly turn this neutral news to a tribal affair? Your head must be a hell of nauseating poo to have managed to string nonsense together so fast. You will soon be nabbed and taken to our correctional centre to be flogged for 2 weeks as a consequence of being openly tribalistic. By the time you return from our rehabilitation centre, you will be behind recognition to those who know you.

I like Nairaland because it provides an avenue to people to express their true intents and desires.
You better wake up and smell the coffee.. Forget about dropping any tribalism its only going to get worse.. The bitterness that has exhumed from the last elections and is still evident till today makes it imperative to stick with your own.

They will soon say there is Agbado in Netflix pocket.

I saw a video of comedian Basketmouth where he was explaining issue of Netflix with Nigeria producers. He said Netflix will budget like $1.5m for example, then producers will use 1/10th of it to make substandard movies and embezzle the rest. Some of them don’t pay their actors well and when Netflix also attempted paying actors directly, them go frustrate am.
That shows the level of decadence in the system. These same individuals would still be the first to vilify the political leaders for the same corruptness that is deeply rooted in their DNA.
