Man Suprised At How Much He Saw In His Friend’s Account by Alakoriomo(op):
I really find it hard to believe that someone who has #634M in Nigeria hasn’t sell his business and properties and use all the money to process student visa and japa. How can someone be like this? You have this amount of money and u have not japa. Some, especially Igbo men from the south and the east, will rather think of using this money to establish business in Nigeria and employ people, instead of japa. This isn’t a good thing to do.

Not everyone's destiny is outside the country.
Thats why you Should Conciously seek the Face of GOD before you make any move.

Dont just move out because the crowd is moving.
There is no tree that grows money or guarantee of an automatic good life out there.

If your Destiny is here and you decide to move with the crowd,
You may move and become worse than those under the bridge in lagos.

I am not a fan of japa or dollar dollar but this chart shows you the value of that money.

Let's say the guy likes West Africa, changing that naira to CFA overtime has weakened.

Let's even forget the guy wants to travel abroad, one small change in petrol price will reduce the purchasing power of that 600 million.

Japa to go and do what?

Unless only for vacation, I see no reason to japa if I'm in his position.

You'll grow that money here in Nigeria and still live a comfortable lifestyle.

oga nothing can reduce d purchasing power of anything

It's only a madman that will have 600 million n think of going abroad when their are many people abroad willing to come back to Nigeria if offered 100 million

Go into real estate, buy land of 10 million use 40 Million to build something on it, that's 50 million n sell the house for 85 million

That's 35 million naira gain, just do that 3 times in a year n repeat every year

I pity many of u

You are right but only 1 in 100 people can do it

600m is more than $400k.

Even the citizens of that country can not save 600m naira in 49 years except they are working in a very good job in the top hierarchy.

Doctors in the US with years of experience and a private practice can save 600m in 10 years.

Senior programmer in the US with equity in a top company like Google or Facebook can save that

A successful Business man or woman in the US can save that.

But the issue is these people are very few.

My only reason to japa is to give ones children that freedom and not limit their potential just because they are born Nigerians.ability to hop into a plane and get visa on arrival to virtually any country on the planet.

I know. A Nigerian medical doctor who went to the US at the age of 35-40 can easily save around 400M to 500M before he move back to Nigeria at the age of say 65 to 70yrs. Because he studied in Nigeria and he won’t have any student loan to pay. His counterparts who studied over there have around $300k student loan and they pay this off within 20yrs, that’s why it’s hard for them to save. But nugerians have saving culture. While I understand that only very few can do this, it’s still possible for doctors and business owners to save around 400M in 20 to 30yrs

Student visa?
That is stupid

He probably has another passport and Can leave if shit hit the fan

He should leave where the market is with over 230 million people and japa on study route to obtain certificate and then what?..
At times some of these stupid folks believe they are wise.

You see Indians, Lebanese, Chinese etc. running to Nigeria because of her market prospects but someone is shocked the friend didn't burn all his money to japa and turn care giver abroad.
