Debroslink:
It was lightning.
shocked shocked How come? Was it connected to the grid or solar panel when it happened? Because I am wondering how lightning could have penetrated it.

Solar panel. It was a Saturday and I went out. Heavy rain fell while I was away. Came back to meet a dead power station. I saw "short" written on it when I tried to turn it on. Sent an email immediately, and they came on Tuesday to pick it up. It was returned almost 2 weeks later in perfect condition. Since then, I learnt my lesson never to leave it plugged while going out for long hours.

I had that thought, @twosquare and everyone else with a unit, make sure to run your wires coming from the solar panel through beakers for additional protection during the rainy season, no wahala if you will always be around to unplug the solar side.

The number one threat to any systme using solar panels to charge is the solar panel, lightning loves to take strolls through it 🫣 many reports of this happening, I advise to join the FB Ecoflow group for stories, hacks, tricks, and useful info.

I was feeling funky today. So because I live in a bungalow, I fetched a bucket of water and poured over my solar panel. This led increase in output of about 30Watts, having washed away the harmattan dust.

Don't buy cloud energy dc fan from jumia, it's more expensive. Type the name of the fan on Google and enter their eshop website. It's way cheaper and delivery option is available.
Omo, those guys are beginning to move like scammers

Since Friday which I made the order, they have not sent it. One of the staff messaged me yesterday concerning delivery and nothing came out of it. Since then, they've not replied to my messages or picked my calls

How far bro have you connected your D2 to the panel huh
If so pls walk me through the cables I need to get apart from the panel itself.

Kindly send me a message via WhatsApp please.

Not yet; I am still awaiting the MC4 to XT60 Extension Cable I ordered from Temu. I think we mentioned it in past threads. This is the only cable you need: https://share.temu.com/oitxVarFCyA You can now add circuit breaker later when you are buoyant.

The how-to is in the ecoflow manual....easy peasy. Anyway, it is also on Jumia, but expensive. You can only get that of 1 metre on Jumia, and you may need more than that.

The highest I can see is 3 metres
300 cm that won't be enough for me though

There is 10 metres I think, but you can see that on Amazon. It depends on how far the roof is to where you want to place your thing....it is enough for me though...I believe.

You can ship to a US address and then to Nigeria. Just that the shipping fee for those na the problem. There is one on jumia which is 4 metres but overpriced: https://www./generic-solar-connector-to-xt60i-f-adapter-12awg-cableconnect-charge-cable-for-solar-portable-power-station-311581271.html. Also shipped from abroad. You can search on Temu if you can see one of good length

I think I found one of 10 metres: https://share.temu.com/7xYQfE4lmpA You can select the last inch.

20ft available here: https://share.temu.com/o1fdWFUlm6A

Let's say your inverter somehow conveniently powers up this traditional compressor refrigerator of yours, how many hours will it stay on for with other loads especially from sundown till sunrise? Best thing to do is throw away your refrigerator and buy an inverter refrigerator, an inverter refrigerator is smart, energy efficient and they do start the compressor gradually, unlike your non inverter tech refrigerator, inverter refrigerators do not have a fixed running watts or starting watts, they will consume as low as 40 watts when it is already very cool inside, shut off when set temperature is reached, etc,
Your traditional refrigerator will have crazy start up watts and consume the rated watts for forever even if you have nothing in it and it is already very cool inside, it'll be a constant power draw like your 100 watts incandescent light bulb (after startup), sell it or throw it away.
Best advice, sold my fridge and bought this under a week.

My inverter will thank me for this gift.

Still grid light...waiting patiently for my cable delivery. I'm not comfortable with using NEPA light to charge. It sometimes changes gear...paka...have you noticed something like that?
