With 600M , why do I need to japa ?

I'd simply purchase another citizenship scheme (st kitss, Barbados, Chile,) those passports offer you entry visa into top tier countries one could think of.

Tayo Aina , the blogger has a second passport he got for 200k USD, theres this other Nigerian youtuber too that did same.

Put the remaining in FD , invest in fmcg , Real estate.

Nigeria is super ripe for business with over 200Million people, #ThinkNumbers.

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

It’s possible to save that 600M abroad in 30 to 40yrs before you retire back to Nigeria if you have a good job tho
add it to your present age when will u enjoy the money

Alakoriomo:
I know. A Nigerian medical doctor who went to the US at the age of 35-40 can easily save around 400M to 500M before he move back to Nigeria at the age of say 65 to 70yrs. Because he studied in Nigeria and he won’t have any student loan to pay. His counterparts who studied over there have around $300k student loan and they pay this off within 20yrs, that’s why it’s hard for them to save. But nugerians have saving culture. While I understand that only very few can do this, it’s still possible for doctors and business owners to save around 400M in 20 to 30yrs
We are saying the same thing.

The conclusion is very few people can save this abroad.

Even in Nigeria, only few people have 600m in their account like 0.07% of the population

From the comments I am seeing so far, it shows that many of you base all of your reasons for japa on monetary gains.

What will it profit a man if he gain the whole world and all the money in nigeria and lose his soul to kidnappers, bad governments and poor health care system?

I shake my head for some of you who don't understand the reason many japa and want to japa, except for the financial aspect. Money money money.

If I have 500 million naira, why will I japa. If I have this, why will I japa. If I have that, why will I japa.

I see all of these as childish reasonings.

Why should a person with that amount think of Japa. He should continue with Whatever that gives him that amount in Nigeria and can only think of Japa as "VACATION"

I might be wrong but I seem to have noticed some trend in yall people lol. Why’s it that whenever someone seem to have a mind of their own and doesn’t glorify japa or promise to sell all his life’s worth (the same way yall did) just to relocate abroad, some of you find issue with that? Is it a form of validation thing? I mean something to tell you within the deep recess of your mind that there are millions of people who will sell their life to reach the level u currently are? With that, you get validated for leaving and for doing what u did some 10yrs ago? Why can’t people do what they want? Why can’t people decide to live wherever they want without yall using poverty, kidnapper and all sort to threaten them? I know 99% of Nigerians can’t make it if they don’t relocate to where you currently are, but let them make their own decision. Any post that doesn’t whitewash japa and praise it is always ridiculous to yall and u will find every means to downgrade such post.

It’s not even as if you really want people to come to the country u currently are (we know how classist and selfish Nigerians are and how u want to be the only one in ur family who’s abroad so other people can look up to u, and envy u), it’s more of u want others to really crave what you have, even if it means they can’t get it, just to validate yourself. This is witchcraft.

Yeah it is. But abroadians will also add some mixture of “I want a better life for my unborn kids” “I don’t want money I just want to live in a country that has tarred road” just to make themselves sound interesting “, selfless and elitist than the average Nigerian they left back home lol

I really find it hard to believe that someone who has #634M in Nigeria hasn’t sell his business and properties and use all the money to process student visa and japa. How can someone be like this? You have this amount of money and u have not japa. Some, especially Igbo men from the south and the east, will rather think of using this money to establish business in Nigeria and employ people, instead of japa. This isn’t a good thing to do.
This japa frenzy is dumber than I think.

Japa to do what? Is it lack of traveling exposure or just sheer tomfoolery?

Well, someone that has raised that kind of money here needs not be told to stay. Here, he can double and triple it. He can always buy a home in any country of his choice for chilling.

Not japa to square 1 in another man's land. Y'all should stop being silly!

It's only a madman that will have 600 million n think of going abroad when their are many people abroad willing to come back to Nigeria if offered 100 million

Go into real estate, buy land of 10 million use 40 Million to build something on it, that's 50 million n sell the house for 85 million

That's 35 million naira gain, just do that 3 times in a year n repeat every year

I pity many of u
Na so e easy?
And who told you you can build a sellable property, probably duplex with just 40m? And who also told you you can get a buy and build property in a sellable location for 10m?

He made that money in naija and can make even more money here. You want him to japa from success to go and face racism, bitterly cold weather, hostile environment and frustration. With that money he can afford all the good things of life here.
God bless our dear native land of Nigeria.

bro I am not talking of an agent, I am talking about d realtors themselves

Agents are middle men n realtors are d money bags

If a realtor completes a duplex with 50 million, how much do u think he can sell it?

Let's start from there first

.u can get buy n build for less than 10 million self

So all lands in Lagos na over 10 million abi?

U can build duplex if u do it yourself with less than 40 Million?

Many of u don't know d secret of this business, because they call house for u 100 million no mean say them use 50 million on everything

A realtor is an agent or broker

What you are talking about is a developer.

A house built for 50m can't be sold for 600m

It takes more money to build a luxury house.

Ok bro, I'm a practicing architect and I can guarantee you that 40m cannot build a standard duplex to be placed on sale.
And talking about lands in Lagos, do you think buying a land to build and sell is same as buying land for banking.
I live and work in awka and I will use it as a case study. Buying a land in a place where you can build and easily sell will cost at least up to 20m per plot. I am currently handling a project in a place not up to 10 mins drive from the heart of the town and that land was bought for 13m. Guess what?, if that building was intended for sale, it will take a long time to get someone who will want to spend huge amount of money to buy property in that location. I believe Lagos won't be any much different.
If you respond to this with further doubts, I will send you a drawing so you can give me a 40 million naira estimate and tell me how you arrived at it.
For a standard 4 bedroom duplex, iron bars will cost you over 6m, cement will cost you over 6m, planks and other woods will take over 4m, blocks will take over 3.5m, roofing sheets alone will cost over 3m, plastering is over 3m, tiles is over 4m, doors and windows over 3m, gate is about 1.5m fencing is over 3.5m, drawing and approval is about 1m, electrical and mechanical fittings over 6m, compound flooring is over 3m, overall labour including Mason, casting, carpenters, iron benders, etc should take over 4m, kitchen cabinet is about 1m, screeding and painting is over 2m, POP is over 3m, septic tank and soak away with chambers is about 1.5m, overhead tank with two tanks is about 2m, borehole drilling is about 1m depending on location, wardrobes about 500k, miscellaneous expenses up to 3m, security house nko.....
I would love to know if you are a contractor, builder, civil engineer or just a random person who feels he has knowledge of building construction and cost saving.

bro I am a builder n I am telling u for sure that all those prices u put there are inflated

The reality of real estate is that if u do it yourself u will realize it's not up to those prices u quoted

U are saying a buy n build land will cost 20m, see I hate arguing with people online cos many of them are far from reality n they quote prices anyhow n that's y I hardly comments on auto n property section

Oga without land u will get a reasonable duplex with 40m. Many of u don't know the tricks, agents n middle men are d problem of real estate just as we have it in oil sector

I am talking from the perspective of someone doing it himself n I am telling u that u can build duplex with 40m n sell it 70m in Lagos.

I am also telling u that u can buy a land to "build n sell" at 2m above in Lagos

All of u only think of island when we talk of real estate

N before 10 years u will make 600m

I didn't say u can build house for 50m n sell it 600m oga

I only said with consistency n good marketing u will get to 600m in 10 years, I was only countering d guy that said someone should travel out n wait for 30 years to make that money
