Yes most birth control will have side effects with prolonged use. The effects will depend on the medication

Which one are you using? If you look at the packaging, it should tell you the name.

Okay. Levofem has levonorgestrel and ethynylestradiol . Those two can have a variety of side effects which might mimic illness. But instead of us concluding that the pill is causing your illness, I think it would be wise for you to first of all rule out other possible causes. Have you see a doctor? That way you’re not ignoring a potential illness while it wreaks havoc on your body. It would be remiss of me to give you medical advice on the internet. Besides I don’t have a way of knowing what’s available where you are.

Is your man open to conversations about vasectomy? That’s the best birth control available with no side effects to either of you. I wish you the best.
