I'm of the opinion that you should be silent about your brother in Canada whilst you emphasise on your close relationship with your parents and other siblings in Nigeria that would facilitate your return. Your employment status and future prospects associated on your return after the completion of your study are okay if included., landed properties owned by you or gifted you by any of your parents is also a good home tie especially if you have a good intent of use relevant to your course of study for the property. You may read more about answers to your questions on my page. Meanwhile, hope the above are useful. Itiswell2334: |

A bank reference letter is not necessary, if you want to include it, your sponsor should request it from his bank Alienwarfare: |

sternakin:But won’t they find out that I have a brother in Canada cus this is a reapplication and I included him in my family form in my previous application since he wasn’t in Canada yet when I applied for my previous application and also for the land property, my parents are the owners of the property….won’t that be a good home tie ? |

affoncad:Is it not the same group of people protesting are same community getting the majority of PR,in all PR route in canada, and higher visa approval rates, there numbers are higher than the PR slots and they know, they are asking for PGWP extension, to have more time to scramble for PR slots, they have taken over walmart and other stores in canada, scotia bank and other banks,Tim Hortons restaurant, rogers network customer service and other networks in canada .. You cannot say it is a meaningless protestest yet,the last work permit extension in 2024 was from this type of protest and spread to some other provinces and immigration policy changes from IRCC. And canada is feeding on International students to support the domestic students without them the whole system will collapse and universities and colleges are crying already because of income coming in,based on the cap on International students admmission. The whole country is overrated, with extreme temperatures in winter, that can go upto -30°C to -40°C even -5° can feel -12° in some province,Some of these people scrambling for pr some may not like to stay,if they get PR and citizenship they move to another country.

Predator188:If you understand what has been happening in Canada over the last six months regarding immigration in canada , you'll realize that this group will no longer hold the same power they once did. Canadian voters are increasingly opposed to the current immigration pattern, and I can assure you with 100% confidence that their PGWP will not be extended, no matter how much they protest. Minister Miller has already stated that the situation is fixed. Studying in Canada is not a guaranteed path to permanent residency (PR), and not everyone will stay. Many fraudulent practices, such as LMIA fraud, bogus schools, and a lack of English proficiency, are being exposed. Even Canada’s Student Direct Stream (SDS) visa program, which was a fast-track visa program FOR them , ended on November 8, 2024. Many of those with expired PGWPs are now considering the asylum route, especially with the upcoming reforms to Canada’s asylum process. It is obvious that many of these applications are fake, with the intention of securing PR. Furthermore, on November 29, 2024, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced a temporary pause on the intake of new refugee sponsorship applications, which had been in place since 1979. With the election approaching and potentially an early election on the horizon, I see no chance of a PGWP extension, especially at a time when many Canadian youth are unable to find a job. The Canadian voter base is not in favour of the current immigration situation, and with the current low ratings of the Liberal Party, there’s a strong possibility of a loss in the upcoming election. They will likely do everything they can to please voters. I can bet you that they will introduce harsher immigration policies to regain voter confidence, rather than extend policies that would favour any particular group. |

affoncad:Talking of extending policies that would favour particular group One pattern of canada immigration system is that, they will close one route and open another route, maintaining immigration level, Is it not the same liberal party that is given illegal or undocumented workers in certain occupation in greater Toronto area permanent residents, and this policies are not in immigration level plan, any policy can be implemented anytime with or without public opinion. Canadian youths can't find a job but they only wants to work in fast food restaurant like Tim Hortons,McDonald's and gas stations nothing more, that is the only job they couldn't find..do they even work only few during summer, you can't find them In agriculture or manufacturing with high labour needs! |

Hello all, the applicant has been denied in the past and mistakenly answered No to the question "Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry to, or ordered to leave any country or territory?" This was a genuine mistake as he fully understands that IRCC has access to his application history. He misinterpreted the phrasing of the question, focusing on the latter part of it. What should we do? |
