I am more worried about Utd post Amorim. Let’s say he leaves us in 3-5 years from now, are we going to start from scratch or what? See the team he left behind. It does not make sense to me.

Let’s see how his tenure goes. He might upgrade our level such that his successor’s work will be very easy, just like how Jurgen left Liverpool for Slot. It’s very possible.

Nah. I think he knows what he’s up against. He’s starting from scratch like he did at Braga and Sporting, but in a bigger magnitude. Turning United around has much bigger rewards than turning sporting around. Else he wouldn’t have jumped on the opportunity in the middle of the season.

The real Sporting fans will never swear for him. He took them from nothing and brought them 2 league titles in the presence of their enemies - Benfica and Porto. They should appreciate him more. But in the meantime I can understand their outrage at United.

Hope he can turn United around but the task is bigger and trickier than Sportting.
