Japa means you are ready to pay your dues (hardwork) for as long as it would take you to settle down and organize your life goals. It often takes time, hardwork and perseverance to fulfill life's dreams.

Imagine 1 US Dollar is equal to 1,670 Naira.

In 2015 under Goodluck/PDP, 1 US dollar was equal to 185 Naira. You can imagine the level of inflation and devaluation of Nigeria when we are not an exporting nation.

I am not finding I difficult to get a job. I have never ever found it difficult to get a job and I am not in the tech industry.
I transitioned to a new company 2022, 2023 and 2024 and if I don't get the raise I am asking for, I will still transition to another company in 2025.

No connection at all. Just sweat and brains. She's the first of any of us to get there.

In as much as Canada is tough now, I wouldn't use this guy as a yard stick. His appearance, poise, professionalism and demeanour are already against him. My person is there now, working in a mental home shelter. At least, the person is seeing close to $4900 every month and the person has been there just a little over a year. It was tough as more than 300 applications were sent before one clicked. Canada is tough now, but if you have funds to sustain yourself while you job hunt, no problems. But if you don't have money to sustain yourself while you navigate through the job market, na OYO!!! Please, go with sufficient funds and never rely on working to pay your school fees. Jobs may not come for the next 9 to 12 months.

What I have known about home and abroad a very long time ago is that, having a good skills or holding a sort after paper is very important.


Don't just put yourself on a plane to abroad without those things. Things will be tight for you like the Nigeria you are running from.


As hard as this country is people with relevant skills are making it. It might not be easy but they won't be hungry.
