Washington only pays federal and point of sales taxes. The same rate as everyone on the federal level. 6% sales taxes. We don’t have state income tax.

Not only does Washington not charge personal income taxes for individuals, they also don’t charge corporate taxes. You know the same corporations they claim blue states hate. In exchange the corporations have to pay minimum wage of above $16/hr.

Meanwhile Texas is still stuck at $7.25/hr.

Obviously the states gets its money through other means, levies and fees but the summary is that it’s not as bad as you’ve heard.

Even the pic he claimed was his first night in the US. If you look closely enough, there is a Surrey, Canada bus stop in the pic.

And then he started posting more stuff to try to back up his claim. But everything he posted made him more the Liar.
He posted the album of pics he said he took on his first day in the US. All the pics in it were from Canada.
He posted chats talking to women, where he would be the one to say he was in the US. Even in one of those chats he claimed he left Nigeria for the US in 2021 not 2023 like he claimed in this thread.

I have no problem with paying taxes. As long as my standard of living improves. A part of my liberalism is the belief that government has a lot of responsibility and role to play in governance so I wouldn't mind paying taxes as long as the taxes are being used to work for the people and corporations pay higher taxes too, all for the public good.

If I were to live in the USA. I would most definitely live in Massachusetts or Maryland. Preferably Massachusetts. Both Blue states. New England is where I would find a home and that's why Massachusetts is perfect for me. I don't mind taxes at all. I just need money. Lol.

I am currently studying Cybersecurity. Beginners level anyway, but what I read was quite chilling and is part of why I am currently studying it. I intend to merge it with law, so GRC (non-technical) and Information security (technical) are areas in Cybersecurity that I intend to specialize on in the coming years they are similar to Intellectual property Law which is an area of Law that I am interested in, it was an elective that I took in school and I have some certifications on it. What he did is part of data violation and privacy. That's scary and we need more regulatory laws in place. I hope in the future I am able to make a difference in that area.

I use my PC for learning and working. I am very lazy when it comes to using a laptop but yes everything is always up to date and the more I read more on Cybersecurity I will know how to protect my data. I am used to using my phone more, so I just generally don't click on anything but this is good advice and I will research more on it.
