I thought I was the only one that heard that from Amorim, and i was shocked he said that. He said he has tried Rashford in different positions, yet its not working.

He seems to trust Hojlund, Deligt, Ugarte, Bruno, Amad, Mazraoui, Mount and Licha. He always uses Dalot too, may be it’s necessity as there is no one.

Dalot is being used because we do not have better options. We have been in the market for a LWB some months and we also signed that Paraguayan boy.

Dalot has been our worst non-Rashford player this season.

The LWBs I can easily think of are Theo Hernandez, Alphonso Davies, Di Marco, and Carlos Augusto. Of the aforementioned, Augusto is the easiest option as I reckon Davies is Madrid-bound and Theo Hernandez is injury-prone.

For RWB, Dumfries or Frimpong should do. I believe we can get either of them for a reasonable fee.

they'd be looking at a LWB that can also play as LCB. Luke Shaw cannot help his body and the contract with Johnny Evans is going to run out. We are not buying a RWB anytime soon.

Mazraoui and Yoro for RCB, Maguire and De Ligt for CCB, and for LCB, it's Licha with any of the CBs as deputy, or we promote from the academy. We will likely sign Frimpong from Leverkusen so that Dalot can be an option from the bench.

For the LWB, Carlos Augusto should do; he can also play LCB, even though I'd prefer Davies as our LWB.

Once Rashford, Sancho, Shaw, and Casemiro are out in the summer, we will have enough space for new signings and effectively reduce our wage bill.

Malacia is too limited in attacking quality.

He is way more technical than Dalot. And he finds a way to be in the right places at the right times. Im just concerned about his attacking prowess. If he can link up well with the attackers in the final third to create chances, he might be the solution we’ve been looking for. But then, we need a capable back up because we can’t rely on him due to his injury history.

Spend 500m, reduce your wage bill, hire a new manager or coach, it will end in MONUMENTAL FAILURE.
