Yes, Security is the responsibility of FG but the problem of the SE is more of an Ideology Crisis than a security one.
The increase in crime is expected in any agitation as criminals will hide behind the agitation to perpetuate the evil schemes similar to looting of shops during endsars crisis.

Any government that respond to an ideology crisis with brute force will be charged with genocide similar to what's happening in gaza and during Buhari's python dance.

I ve seen numerous videos of heavily harmed UGM enforcing stay at home and being hailed by natives.

Insecurity is now sectionalised under APC, the last I checked, Ananbra is in Nigeria and it is the responsibility of the president of Nigeria to safe guard every citizen. Until state police is pass into bill, security remains Mr president's responsibility.

I was in Anambra state Idemili north at at time when the local government office was burnt and one thing struck me. In the whole state all federal, state and local government offices are heavily guarded with military men at the entrance and exits. Anambra state after Lagos is the state with the highest population density per square meter, which means it is limits the advantage of speed during an insurgency. Now on the day the local government office was burnt those heavily armed soldier were conveniently absent, and no one here in NL is asking questions why? Again no one is asking why is it that a state with a small land mass has insurgents operating despite speed being a disadvantage.
There's a reason why you don't have bank robberies anymore in Lagos because they don't have the advantage of speed anymore they have to use the jetties which makes them vulnerable, and you now wonder why iy happen in Anambra despite the presence of military checkpoint every 20m and heavily armed presence at all government infrastructures and offices in the state.
