Nickipinky:Sorry about the refusal. It is possible to spend 120k monthly. Very possible. I don't doubt that. The main issue is your statement of account. Forget the 3 Countries you have travelled to. A list or no A list. UK visa officers don't get carried away with all of that. I know people with US valid visas that UK denied. Travel history does help - but other things must be in place. Especially your statement of account. After your first visa, it gets easier... Work on your statement of account and ensure you can defend the inflow. They don't care much about outflow. Good luck! |

Arry110:That's local government tax, more like trade permit. This is different from PIT. It's the LIRS that will tell you your PIT for the past 3 years, so you can obtain TCC Tax Clearance Certificate. I got mine for 2021, 2022 &2023 which was submitted to UKVI With what you said you earn, your annual tax should not be less than ₦1million if you're to be properly assessed. Your annual tax should be between 10-21% of the ₦24m you said you earn annually |

Nickipinky:Clearly, you did not spend 50m in 6 months. If a lot of money pass through your account, you can have an inflow of 50m in 6 months. Does not mean you spent 50m. As it is, I would advise you to try another Country. Leave UK for now. |

Has anyone used a First Bank Multi-Currency Domiciliary Card to pay for UK visa fees or make a transaction in Pounds? I am looking for confirmation on whether this card can be used for Pound-denominated transactions, specifically for UK visa fees etc. Any positive or negative experiences would be helpful |

Has anyone recently been granted a UK visitor visa after stating a total budget between 900 and 1,000 pounds for a one week visit (excluding accommodation and including flights)? For those of you who have recently been granted UK visitor visas, what budget did you indicate for one week? I know this will obviously vary based on individual circumstances, but please provide a reasonable budget to use as a guide based on current living costs in the UK, in order to prevent the likelihood of stating an unrealistic budget. Please assume the applicant in question has a monthly disposable income of at least 600,000 Naira. Thank you! |

Hi, out of curiosity, how much did you budget for a week in the UK and what's your disposable income like? Please provide a range. All the best as you await a decision. Investorvibess: |

b31164707:250 GBP each month I earn 1500 GBP each month Planning to spend 600GBP for my Trip |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by b31164707: 5:07pm On Dec 18, 2024 |
If your disposable income is 250 GBP each month after earning 1,500 GBP each month, then your expenses must be very high o. You didn't include the cost of accommodation and airfare in the 600 GBP you budgeted for a week in London, yet you still got the visa? How were you able to get away with indicating only 600 GBP as your total budget for a week in London when the cheapest round-trip flight ticket from Lagos to London today is at least 500 GBP? b31164707:I already booked my accommodation ….stated it on my application ……I budgeted my expenses base on my bank statements balance i submitted and I stated my savings …. Waiting on decision mail … |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by b31164707: 5:21pm On Dec 18, 2024 |
Fair enough, but you can't budget expenses based on just your bank statement balance without also factoring in living costs in the UK. If you're budgeting at least 500 GBP (cheapest airfare from Lagos to London) for a round-trip flight from Lagos to London, does this mean that you're only budgeting about 100 GBP for living expenses for a week? This doesn't seem quite realistic to be honest. Investorvibess: |

b31164707:Do you know if my balance on my bank statements already covers my flight ….. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by b31164707: 5:32pm On Dec 18, 2024 |
Ok, this makes sense then. Well, I guess it's a safer approach to only budget for living expenses in the application, then clearly state that the budget excludes the cost of airfare, which will be covered separately if the visitor visa is granted. I'll be really surprised if they reject your application for not including the cost of airfare in your total budget. Investorvibess: |

b31164707:I want you too understand something about all this I am saying … I earn 1500 GBP in a month 250 GBP in a month 600 GBP Savings 600 GBP for the Trip Accommodation booked and with proof |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by b31164707: 5:48pm On Dec 18, 2024 |
Is 600 GBP all you have in total as savings? If so, then I can tell you authoritatively that your application will be refused because it's not sensible to plan to spend your entire savings in a week. Investorvibess: |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by dubaiprince: 6:05pm On Dec 18, 2024 |
b31164707:It doesn't work like this. You can decide to spend your entire savings in one day. Savings is meant to be spent anyways. It is a common culture in developed countries for people to save towards holidays. Infact travelling is a normal thing for them. As long as the source of funding and how the trip would be funded is explained and in line with your financial circumstances e.g. employment, business etc you should be fine. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by dubaiprince: 6:34pm On Dec 18, 2024 |
Investorvibess:Today will make it the 14th working day and their timeline for standard application is 15 working days. I appreciate most people get their decision way before this timeline. Maybe you should send them a paid enquiry on Friday if you don't receive a decision by then asking what exactly is causing the delay. In the email you got from UKVI VI when your application got to DMC, did they mention there could be delays? |

Doesn’t work like that for visa applicants. They expect you to have something to return to after your trip. They even have a problem with you spending four times your disposable income, not to talk of wanting to spend all your savings. dubaiprince: |
