Why did you not take your own children there abi, you are not in NIgeria or you do not need help ?, leave Govt out of this, the truth is that people are greedy and like free things too much, especially ibadan people, it is that mentality that put them in trouble. May the soul of the departed rest in peace.
Are you saying Tinubu's policies is not causing hunger? Or you are not aware Tinubu is stopping everything beneficial to the masses so that more money can be available to politicians

Where there crowd control measures in place? This is a very important learning point for those who plan to do such events in the future. You don't joke with crowd control plus there must be ambulances on stand to tackle health emergency needs
Its not surprising Nigerians are always reactive, i see people shouting crowd control measures, But we forget You can't control an angry crowd
They say an hungry man is an angry man, as a Nigerian i can tell what started the stampede is the barbarian attitude of Nigerians, we always want to bypass rules and have our way, it happened at the custom premises, the rice sales then

we see these act on our roads, fillling stations, Nigerians dont respect rules, I will cut the organisers some slack

Next time employ army wey use leaf cover body, place armour tanks there, that is the language Nigerians understand ... the few that manage to come will behave

All of them will be defending themselves now.

Hunger doesn't discriminate, instead of people to vote wisely dem prefer to carry tribalism for head like gele........Why would any sensible parent allow his child(ren) leave home by 5am because of free food?

strangest:
He will bring hunger to the country

We told them......

But to some it's all about RONU...

Now people are dying because of a plate of food that may not even cost $2.ooUSD...

Rest in peace to the dead...
When exactly in this country have people not complained about hunger?

When in this country have people not complained about high prices?

When exactly have people not said their suffering is the worst ever?

These are rhetorical questions so don't bother answering, we know your post is a bitter one inspired by the Peter Obi election loss. Same Peter Obi than Ndi anambra were cursing the hell out of all over social media including on here. You told them indeed.

By the way, it was Northerners that effectively voted President Tinubu in as Ndi Yoruba spread their votes so your Ronu nonsense is false.

This is a thread relating to the unfortunate death of children and you can't help yourself, shameful.

That is the biggest mistake from you. You should have tell them the program is cancel and a new date will be communicated.

You cannot go on air to advertise give away and expect people not to over crowd the venue.
God bless you..... The organizer are supposed to have canceled the party..... But they lack organizational...

I'm sure they didn't announce dt people should go back

Under-developed country.... everything will always end in arrest.

A public event that resulted in stamped, yet you're arresting organisers .

The way devil curse this nation with mental laziness and imbecility is beyond redemption.
So who should be arrested?
Re: ”We Told People To Stop Coming But They Refused” – Agidigbo FM Reacts by cybersoldiers: 9:35am On Dec 20, 2024
The stamped was caused by hunger courtesy of Tinubu's Mal-administration.

You see why I keep telling yoruba people to stop supporting bad government.

See how their children was wasted because they went to eat free food.

Call evil for what it is.

how 35 children/people would die when they are not a week old children nor cockroaches is what I dont understand....It is enlightening to say this neither is it civil, but Nigerians love to add spirituality to most help or gifts that have a public gathering...

Tinubu is in power, people are hungry, they answered the call to eat for free.
RIP to the dead.

The government still doesn't care. They are making policies aimed at taking money from the masses and giving to the politicians.
After all akpabio said "if you see free food eat"

They only obeyed constituted authority.

You were making sense until you narrow your comment about greed to Ibadan people! Tell me which parts of Nigeria that is not greedy.
Moreover this is not a case of greed, it is reflection of the hunger in the land. Take that event to any part of the country, the same thing will happen. So stop gaslighting Ibadan people, it doesn't make sense!
