I went back to village today in a very very good mood
And left village feeling angry

My grand mother and grand father are lovebirds.

She meet him when they were small. They are both from same village.

They are a typical example of rpmeo and juliet love.
They have been married for 62 years.
Anywhere ypu see my grandpa
U gp see her, dem be like 5&6
Unfourtunately 2023 june
My grandpa passed away

Ever since my gramd pa died
My grandma has been in depression. Serious depression

She fit sidon for one spot looking at nothing for hours.
Eat food, she no gree
Oya make we take you go Abroad
She no gree

Everytime she says she wants to die and join grandpa.
Sometimes she will starve for days until we force her to eat.

She has been on watch
She tried overdosing on prescription pills.

Basically, she is tired of life
She keeps wishing to die and join her husband.

I dont know the kind of mumu love these old people carry for head.

Out of anger, i told to go and die and allow us to hear word.
Everytime she will be talking about grandpa. And the man died a year ago.

I'm just tired of her threatning to kill herslf. That she cant live without grandpa.

Should we off her?

As things are, we would be very happy if she dies.

You will never understand wat she is passing thru, Do not distance ur self from her..She is depressed she is now in a stage where to her life is meaningless after everything u lose Dem at d end to death...Am a young man wen I lose my dad 4 years ago...I pass tru such wat is life all about , all d struggle to acquire wealth and love one day u will just kpai and everything will go just like dat...I kept wondering the reason to life and the end...Then if u make me world president I tell I wod have rejected it...I almost lose my business because i became less concerned..is now that i start fixing things up.....I decided to enjoy my life and not attached my life to wat I acquire I see my self as care taker not the owner of my properties because in death am alone.....So she is probably passing tru such right now everything is a mirage to her but dead is the real thing...Endure with her because i can tell you she won't be able to overcome it, continue showing her love i pray she live longer but with her state of mind i doubt if she will....

My friend ur grandma is afraid of death. Try this, go and get a black long rag, drop it around her door step in the night when she is inside her room then start sounding snake snake in ur native language and see how she will run out of the room. Old age is suppose to be a blessing not a burden.
It's not good to pray for someone to die young, but I pray that the op will not experience what the poor woman is passing through!
I don't think she can overcome when the people who are supposed to uplift her spirit are the ones killing it.
It is more tolerable for Men to withstand loneliness but even youth ladies will age faster and suffer dejection when faced with loneliness how much more an elderly woman.
With Grandpa, the only person that understands(old people live in another world) and made her feels relevant still in this world dead, it's natural for her to feels useless, lonely, obsolete, rejected, hopeless and desperate to end it all. Her will to continue living has been dashed
