Nah, I've never seen them going houses to houses to preach... I don't see Nigerians in SA ever doing that...

I was never a Deeper Life member, I just happened to have a Deeper Life friend and my friends and I usually liked visiting each other's fellowships.

But my Deeper Life friend somehow tricked me in a way that I ended up finding myself taking Deeper Life bible studies and writing quizzes after every study...🤦🤦🤦... When I think about it, I'm still mad at her till this day...😂😂😂

I've never been to their churches so literally have no clue how organized they're ..

I don't know if they have a church because I only attended their student Campus revival.

The revival seemed to have been dominated by Nigerians and I'm sorry to say this, but it really made me feel uncomfortable as a South African, I felt like I was the only one there... I was kinda scared...🤦🤦🤦... After the revival, they offered me something to eat, but I turned down the food because I just wanted to get out of that place...🤦🤦🤦

I didn't know anything about that church until that day...😅😅😅

Well, I'm no longer a churchy type, but whenever I feel like going to one, it's Grace Family Church.

well I would say the society plays a major role in defining what is modest. Because for churches, each church has their own bench marks and principles for modesty which can differ from church to church… so if the society the lady in the picture accepts it , then she is justified

what does comfortable in her skin mean? She could as well not wear anything then!

I agree that the society plays a role but there is really no way the society can enforce a certain dress code,the society can only influence through family values perhaps from a young age but for me, I have a deep seated mistrust to the Nigerian society, I believe it norms to be deeply hypothetical.
In Benin Republic for example, we have a community where women do not wear bras leaving the titles in full glare, In such society, the breast's are not so much of a sexual thing.
I only have control over myself and underage kids, I have no reason to want to control what a third party waers for example. We, as a society have to focus on what is really important and not flimsy issues like other people's clothes.

Observing from your dp, you will look beautiful in that cloth though.

I've been in Scotland since 2001 and can speak Scots Gaelic, I understand the culture very well and can show you round town. Does this make me a Scottish person? I doubt they'll see me as one and I have no problem with that.
