Hi all! I have a six-month visa that is expiring at the end of the month and I am planning for the renewal next year. It has been used once. In the time since my last application, I've changed employers and am earning a different salary. My current employer also reimburses expenses (lunch, dinner, transportation expense on work trips etc). The basic process is that you get a company credit card to bill work expenses to (so you dont have to be out of pocket from using personal funds), then claim your reimbursement, which upon approval is paid into your salary account, and you are responsible for applying the reimbursement to clean up the card. So I have the debits for the allowed work expenses on one card account (with Bank A) and then reimbursement from my company into my salary account (which is with Bank B). Immediately I get the reimbursement into salary account with Bank B, I then move the money out to clear the credit card with Bank A. It is sounding convoluted as I am typing it now self. What would be the best way to explain these credits into my account from my employer which are not salary credits, and which basically come in and out? Thank youuu!! |

I have a budget of 1000 pounds Flight- 300 pounds Feeding- 50x6= 300 Accommodation= 200 Transport and miscellaneous = 200 Is this budget okay or needs adjustment? I’m not in Nigeria so flight fair from my location is within 250-300 range My friend wanted to accommodate me but her tenancy agreement is expiring a week before my planned trip. Is it possible to apply without the tenancy agreement? i.e just her brp, passport and a letter from her datailing where she stays? (She said it’s bill inclusive so no utility bill) |

courrage9:When she renews her tenancy, you apply or you say you are paying for your own accommodation and keep friend out of it .. .. a hotel booking is fine for the visa application, you don’t need a confirmed paid booking. |

It’s okay to use the booking. You don’t have to pay for anything. courrage9: |

1 month might seem dodgy. Better to use 6 months to show how you’re being supported here. You could annotate transfers from your mom on your bank statement too. courrage9: |

Lollydagold:Sorry for this However, I'll blame you. If the contents of the letter are true, then you need to correct many things 1. You just registered your company ( This ordinarily should not be an issue, but for the fact that you made it appear that the business had been running before registration 2. Your statement of account should justify how you're able to pay yourself ₦6.5m per annum 3. You said you spend ₦145k monthly. Did your statement show this outflow monthly? . |

Opeyemi007:Hi, I have a foreign account so she doesn’t send funds directly from her naira account. I have money gram receipts sent by my dad (sept, July and April). But the money sent via money gram still doesn’t tally with my monthly credits. How do I go about this? |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Opeyemi007: 3:33am On Dec 23, 2024 |
Well, the money transfer receipts would help to show she’s been consistently supporting you. I don’t know what to say about the other aspect courrage9: |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Lollydagold: 7:21am On Dec 23, 2024 |
davodyguy:This is my first time applying duo, so when next I’ll make sure I look into those mistakes I made earlier, I’ll run my account very well so I’ll be able to justify the money I stated that I earn annually Moreover my statements didn’t show outflow of the 145k I stated that I spend monthly reason been is that I open the account six months ago, am used to Opay but I checked it online that Opay can’t be used, |
