Jamiuokolaa:I hope you remember that last season under Ten Hag,Manchester United lost 3-0 at home to this same Bournemouth under Iraola. This rot did not start this season.

Jamiuokolaa:3-0 home loss also happened with this same core of players last season. So nothing new there. Just an example, Chelsea were finishing midtable in the last few years. How many players did they buy and sell in the last 3 years? |

Yemike:You might be right but again, I feel the manager is kinda struggling to shoehorn him into the starting 11... For me, Bruno should only start as a LAMF in matches where we truly need to be defensively solid and disciplined in midfield..i.e vs Top sides. I don't see the need to start him there vs Bournemouth at OT. He should be lining up alongside Ugarte in CMF As annoying and Frustrating as Garnacho is, I feel he can't be worse than Bruno on that LHS...atleast Garnacho would still be running at defenders, trying to create chaos etc. We need to look for ways to reduce our sole reliance on Amad for creativity and Bruno at LAMF doesn't seem to be the answer. |

MRTA7: Goosethetruth:Does it mean we should have stayed put with Bin Laden since he wasn't the problem? ![]() We lost 0-3 vs this Bournemouth team at home and y'all still say we need 15 new signings to win matches like this?

afrodoc2:Seems like we have a defence camp. Attack vs Defence. Let's have it. Left to me, leaving Rashford out of the squad was the single most retarded thing Amorim could have done, given that he's United's best attacker . You won't play City every weekend, and have now lost the 2 games since. You nack community toto, come think say na rizz you get. ![]() |

odizeey:Either : ● To Salvage the season, steady the ship and put us in a better position for next season ●To use the remainder of the season as pre-season for next season - results don't matter ![]() The answer is obvious but the more comfortable option is the usually the most popular one odizeey:When Amorim gets his players, hopefully we would start winning well and the excuses wouldn't turn to: ●The players need time to blend and cook properly for the flavour to come out... ● we need a new setpiece coach because we are conceding too many goals from corners ●The effect of Ten hag and Moyes is still affecting the team - we need 5 years to clear the rot! What i see is that we have become used to giving needless excuses and no be today. It was on this same thread i read that we need to sign a player who would free the main player that was signed to free Pogba We were humiliated 0-3 at home and instead of condemning the performance as unacceptable, we are being told we need 15 new players to beat Bournemouth at OT + the "fact" that their manager is so good that he is being considered as a potential replacement for Pep ![]() Gosh - who do us this thing? It is well las las |

CapitalCee:You guys have started again. Analysing a game to you guys is all about who started and who didn't. What did Garnacho and Yoro do when they finally came in? Garnacho that's always better coming off the bench came on and couldn't do one thing right. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ChristoBam: 12:47am On Dec 23, 2024 |
In December 2024, someone's saying Rashford is our best attacker lmao. It's the same player worship that cultivated the useless culture we have at the club right now. A player's dropped to pass a message to the squad. Everything never even digest and the fool went ahead to immediately approve the release of an interview that's been on hold for a while. Couldn't wait for all the noise around him to die down a bit. How the fvck do you immediately integrate such a player back to your squad immediately. This is why I never rated any of the nonsense y'all used to beat ETH down. In reality y'all don't even know what you're talking about. Discipline, control, favoritism, style of play, are all just words y'all throw around for fun. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ChristoBam: 12:57am On Dec 23, 2024 |
Y'all want the implementation of a style of play. Well, there you have it. It'll take time. I remember Amorim said last season his players were so routined they could play with their eyes closed. Such level of efficiency will definitely take time. We'll probably get some other results like this but I'm sure Amorim won't switch anything. Even some of the players some are already giving up on might end up being pivotal parts of the system when they're drilled on what's expected from them on the pitch. |

Goosethetruth:How come this new manager syndrome only seems to be applicable to other teams and never for us? If it's Man utd, we would be hearing "he just took over, he needs time " This is Wolves who are currently 18th on the log oh It is well |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by ChristoBam: 2:31am On Dec 23, 2024 |
Jamiuokolaa:Got no expectations in terms of where we finish on the table. Just expect the manager to have a full idea of what he needs going into next summer. That means every player that needs to leave and the ones we need to bring in. If we go into next season making new huge awful discoveries personnel wise, I'll probably conclude he isn't the guy. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Goosethetruth(m): 6:31am On Dec 23, 2024 |
odizeey:No one is justifying anything. The person I responded to was trying to pretend this was the first time United had lost to Bournemouth at home. I was simply reminding him that in December last year under Ten Hag United lost to the same Bournemouth by 3-0 at Old Trafford. The truth is bitter but the sooner people accept that most of these players are not good enough and that United are a mid table team in the 13th position with a minus-1 goal difference the better for everyone. Fans need to accept that Amorim has a massive reorganisation job on his hands. |

afrodoc2:The senseless and desperate young chap that runs with the ball all the time not minding how many players are in front of him. That you guys rate low IQ players shows how mediocre your club has become. I casually watched you guys game yesterday and realized that una get plenty players wey dey over willing to lose ball while trying out things that only work 2/10 of the time. This leads to dangerous turnovers. Ge(a)rnacho, Mainoo, Amad, and high chief Bruno are the biggest culprits. The only cultured midfielder wey una get, dem comot am for first half. Never trust a player who doesn't find it a big deal losing the ball, they are always a ticking time bomb. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Goosethetruth(m): 7:06am On Dec 23, 2024 |
Jamiuokolaa:It means same shit. Just a different toilet. I don't want to get into any arguments this morning. I can understand the agenda but this time it will not work. The players are simply NOT good enough for United standard and the sooner this is acceptable the better for everyone. These are players purchased by Ten Hag. Amorim has not bought a single player. He is trying to fit Ten Hags players into his system and at times it will work and at certain times it may not work. Patience is key in this situation. It is not an immediate fix. This season is probably an experiment. Tearing hair out and cursing is not going to change anything as far as I can see. Apparently Amorim is sticking to his system that he believes can give him success. The players that humble themselves and buy into the system will remain at the club while the recalcitrant ones will be shown the door. How can a team play without a spine? There is the dodgy goalkeeper between the posts. The short centre half in defence and a centre forward who finds it difficult to hold up play or score goals. That sums up United in a nutshell. A mid table team living on past glory. |

Goosethetruth: ![]() When people ask simple questions, una go turn am to agenda matter.. You say the team doesn't have a spine, yet the general consensus here is that the following players are good enough to start: •Martinez (CB) •Mazroui (CB/WB) •Ugarte (MF) •Bruno (MF/AMF) •Amad (FW) Is there a new definition of spinal cord that we need to be aware of? Unless you are saying that we need a new goalkeeper to prevent 0-3 losses to Bournemouth |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Goosethetruth(m): 7:19am On Dec 23, 2024 |
Jamiuokolaa:The spine of a football team is the goalkeeper to the centre half to the centre forward. These are elementary basics of amateur football. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Jamiuokolaa: 7:20am On Dec 23, 2024 |
Goosethetruth:Okay, meaning that we need to sign a new Goalkeeper and CF before we can avoid 0-3 home losses to Bournemouth? |
