My sister travelling to visit her daughter in the UK requires an introductory letter as a volunteer from the church but the Pastor requires her to draft the letter herself. Can I please get a sample of such letter from anyone in the house? Thanks

I got it December 18th
I did my biometric December 3rd
sorry about that, you can try to reapply and work on the grounds at which you’re being denied. Did you received NSF mail before the decision?

This is my first time applying duo, so when next I’ll make sure I look into those mistakes I made earlier, I’ll run my account very well so I’ll be able to justify the money I stated that I earn annually
Moreover my statements didn’t show outflow of the 145k I stated that I spend monthly reason been is that I open the account six months ago, am used to Opay but I checked it online that Opay can’t be used,
Who says Opay can't be used?

You should have asked here.

My wife used cooperative society savings account that's licensed by the Nigerian authorities to receive savings.

Your business account should be receiving payment from customers and in the 6 months you would use, make sure the inflow is more than the 1 year salary you pay yourself

Then from this same account, transfer the monthly equivalent of ₦6.5m per annum per month. ₦500,000 monthly

Then from the ₦500,000 spend only ₦145,000 every month

Problem 1 solved

Make sure you pay tax. Walk to any tax office, assuming you're in Lagos, they'll do 3 years tax clearance for you

Since you'll be applying in 2025, you'll need tax for 3 years preceding 2025 which are 2022, 2023 and 2024 (personal income tax)

Then register your company with FIRS (VAT) assuming you're a Business Venture not LTD it PLC

Okay, am new here if not I would have asked from the onset, but as it is now, I’ll work on that
So I should make sure I transfer 500k monthly to the acct, and I shouldn’t send out more than 145k in the acct monthly right? What if I transfer 500k on the acct and I send out the exact amount will there be any issues, am sorry am asking this so I won’t make any mistakes when applying again.
I’ll pay the tax and also register with FIRS

We're in December, 2024 now. By December, 30th transfer ₦500,000 to you personal account BD mark it December Salary. Then in the entire 30 days in January, 2025 make sure that all the money that leaves that account will not exceed ₦150,000.

I know you have other expenses, as it's difficult to spend just ₦150k monthly in Nigeria, but anything above ₦150k should come from another account

You can use any of the airlines you mentioned in your post.

The airline or flight reservation an applicant uses has no bearing on the outcome of the visa application.

Good evening everyone

Please I applied for a UK visit visa and since got a message that passport is out and it's been sent to me since on Tuesday last week....I paid for the courier plus service and was deducted online without confirmation so I had to pay again on site.

Please has anyone recently successfully got a refund from VFS? There's no customer contact or mail on their site. Does anyone know the courier service provider they use? I have got no means of following up on my passport?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Oghosagracely: 12:17am On Dec 24, 2024
Please have you been able to get your money back from VFS? Am also trying to get my money back for a service that was not registered.

Sis please what courier brought your mum'spassport?

Did you contactVFS before it got to your mum?

From your writeup, it seem only 3 days between collection mail and actually courier delivery, mine is 7 days already with no means of tracking passport. Did they call her or text her before the courier got to her house?

I had to send someone to their office in Ikeja to get a tracking number because there was none in the courier receipt

They used GIG logistics, we didn’t wait for them to call, immediately it delivered to GIG Benin office via tracking my mum went there to collect herself

Good day everyone. I need a little clarification pls. I applied for a UK visit visa and just completed the payment process. Among other documents to upload on VFS is the Proof of Application document but I don’t know which exactly it is…huh

1. So, which document is the proof of application document please?

2. My bank statements also happen to be 6mb each in size, the guideline says each doc shouldn’t exceed 5mb….is there a way to reduce quality of a pdf doc or can I simply upload like that pls?

Thank you

proof of application is the application form you filled download as (PDF) , and yes just upload the bank statement like that. Wish you best of Luck.

You need to compress the PDF size of your bank statement or else it might not upload as it exceeds 5mb, they are free software online to do that

Aww Thank you so much Sis for your reply, omo I won't advise anyone to use their courier service, they are really a big joke. Imagine some number called today to say we should come to their office in Benin to pick up, after paying almost 55k to waybill from lagos to Benin. A journey of 4 hrs turned to a journey of 7 days with vfs global, it's like the parcel has been in their office since until I wrote to their head office which they claimed to be investigating the matter before the kpako courier called today. They finally brought it this evening......

2yrs visit visa approved
To God be the glory.

As in I don't blame them, it's because it's Nigeria, they won't try that in the UK. If only I can get my hands on their boss email or any of their officials which I know I'll soon.....mine was deducted in pounds and its just about 18pounds so getting a court order won't make sense but I don't mind reporting them to their office here in the UK here or even to UKVI....
They are not serious
I'll advise anyone paying for services to VFS to just pay onsite rather than on their website.

MrSoftlife:
28 days and counting, no refund.
Vfs global is just a joke.
Worst part is Flutterwave confirmed the transaction was successful and vfsglobal keeps repeating same old excuse that they are carrying out investigation.
My advise to anyone making payment this period, please don’t be in a haste.
Next year probably I will have to get a court order.

You're okay

(2) Do I need to budget any amount of money for infant baby of 8months for feeding? No, except for baby food,

3). Like How much will I budget for entertainment/shopping for me and my baby?

Since 20th December our arrival, we did couple of places London Eye, madame tussauds, Sea Life, Winter land etc and cost each person about £80

£250 to £300 cos infants are free to most attractions

4) like how much will I budget for transport? Depends on your location and how close it is to Airport and historic places you want to visit. £100 for local transport and about £200 from Airport to your stay and return to airport
Some of these things vary
