My babe told me she wants to fix her samsung s10 plus screen that she needs 100k.

I sent her d money without thinking twice.
Later on I found out she actually fixed the screen for 250k i.e adding my 100k to her own 150k.

Is that a wise decision to fix a samsung S10plus for that amount when she could get a brand new mid-range Tecno phone with that same amount

It's a good decision but the issue is the screen go spoil again in the future. And you will still be spending such huge amount to fix it the second time. If you don't have maintenance culture, don't use Samsung at all. Go for iphone or Tecno

I'd rather go for a neatly used iPhone XR or A series Samsung with good spec. The replaced screen may not last a year or two.
I replaced my S9plus screen, used it for 4months before the screen starting flickering. Now, the screen is completely blank.

It is a terrible decision. There are so many things she could have done with that money.

But reparing a phone is not part of it. Selling of that as scrab and buying unknown brand is better so far she got it cheaper. Even used phone that is cheaper is better option.

Your girlfriend places so much interest in status (the kind of phone she uses) over wise plan.

If I should extrapolate from this information, she will be willing to sell herself should another guy offers to buy her new latest Samsung phone or iPhone

How will you say a phone that easily develops screen issues id light years above latest Tecno phones.
I have used the same S10 plus and it developed screen flickering issues all of a sudden without even falling to the ground

Chances are, another dude sent the N150k. A lot of them don't like to use their own money to fix things like that.

You have a liability of a girlfriend if she feels using 250k to fix a screen is so important to her. I advice you as an older man(44). Do not marry that lady!!! Her priorities aren't right if that's what is so important to her as a young lady, if you decide to marry her you're doing yourself a lot of harm.
