It's a good decision but the issue is the screen go spoil again in the future. And you will still be spending such huge amount to fix it the second time. If you don't have maintenance culture, don't use Samsung at all. Go for iphone or Tecno

I don't know gains people receive from using high-end phone when they can't use 50% of features. Which 50 percent features they used can be found in mid range phone.

I used Huawei phone in 2022,I had to change its screen 3 times in a year For 30k each when I can get Itel phone for 30k. I realized my error of decision and dump the phone and got Itel s55 for 40k in 2022. It was a wow phone.
