Aketi fought for his people and the south west region. He left a strong and good legacy. I wonder why anyone will disrespect his family or wife for any reason. Even the current state government have not respected or honored Aketi's legacy. |

tutudesz:Pẹ̀lẹ́, you live either in ọwọ or at best Akure, that why you don't know the enormous amount of power a State Governor has. If Aiyedatiwa wanted, he could cancel that event, all needed was for the State Commissioner of Police to issue a press statement that security report wasn't right for the event to go ahead, the next thing you would see is that the venue being condoned off, with yellow ribbons. Ask Wike the kind of power Fubara has, you can pick your learning from there |

ChiefOloye:You said the governor's can attend the event without being invited Event Wike can't enter any private event not taking place in government owned properties.Sorry I lived in Abuja, Rivers and Lagos and worked with governor's, so no governor have the power to enter any privately owned properties without permission |

It is not good to be intoxicated with power. You destroyed many families food. You went to Idanre to destroy their cocoa reserve with much pleads from the people and their king, yet, you turned a deaf ear. Also, you wasted millions to barricade Akure Oja-Oba road which serves no purpose and you think people will be happy with you. If you do right, people's curse will not work on you but if you do contrary, curse will surely work on you. |

Late Akeredolu made the wrong choice for a wife.. I doubt the man ever felt happy for once in the marriage with the kind of attitude his widow is displaying. Will she attempt something like this in Imo State where she came from?.. after shaving her head with blade and forcing her to drink the water used in bathing her late husband's corpse, I doubt she'll have any energy left to be misbehaving. Shame on those Yoruba betrayers standing beside her.. they always ride on the omo ales to infiltrate Yorubaland and divide our people. |

tutudesz:In that case, you used the wrong word, when you wrote "the Governor and his Aides were banned from attending..." and I put it to you that no private person can ban a State Governor from any part of his State. The right phrase would have been "the Governor and his Aides were not invited" Meanwhile if the Governor wanted to be there, he could have, even without an invitation. The worst that could happen was a shouting spree. I'm sure Aiyedatiwa is a gentleman, a typical Governor Fayose or Aregbesola or Olagunsoye Oyinlola go enter, even their Police security attaché go fire some bullets. |

Celestialsword:No,she did not! It was actually the other way round;Aketi rescued her! If she had not met Akeredolu, she would have been one those numerous village Mgbeke in Alaigbo who were lured to bed with 'I will take you to Lagos,Yoruba land!' Do you even know the age difference between them? Meeting Aketi was a life changer for Betty;he took her away from the village and washed off the usual primitiveness from her body, but alas, that has refused to go away! Even in death,Akerodolu was a blessing to Betty - he rescued her from drinking corpse-water as it's usually done where she came from! |
