You're lucky the son isn't around to monitor. Who'll tell him you did a repair?

Thank you for the advice she will not have any problem about moving out . .actually I am the one who is afraid of letting her go because of she will have no guardian or boundaries.

please use the money you want to use to get her accommodation to fix the shower in the other room. I prefer that to getting her accommodation and living alone

I know times are hard but given the situation with the son, I'll advise you pay rent upfront for some years if possible. Then tell the mum. If anything happens to that woman (God forbid) the quit notice will come very swiftly.

While you are right that your husband will be angry that your niece is using your bathroom without his consent, don't you think there are underlying issues if you are 'afraid of losing your marriage' because of this?

Buy a big flat bath, the one we call plastic baff. She should place it on the floor of the second toilet, stand or squat in it and take her bath. When she is done, she can pour the water down the toilet or drainage. Problems solved. It's like you don't know how much renting an accommodation is right now.

my hubby doesn't wear anything to bed except boxer and he doesn't like to cover although he is a deep sleeper if I try to cover him he will feel the heat and remove it complaining that he is hot..so the way my niece has been entering our room at 4am sometime I am also asleep at that time I don't even know when she enter because is also tiring for me to be awake at this time everyday and for her to seeing my hubby in his boxers I don't find it appropriate and am not very comfortable with the situation anymore.
