CaveAdullam:
1. When you have verified that someone genuinely loves you, don't break that person's heart. Choose death rather. Or, end the relationship early.

Because not all lovers are weak. Betrayal may trigger their vindictive instinct and they'll come for your jugular like a vampire.

2. Don't bank on promises.

See promises as mere talk. Never abandon your path because someone promised you a brighter future.

3. Have a clear map of what you are doing. Have a plan.

What do you want in life?

Once you answer that question, you'll be able to see all the channels that lead to your destination.

4. Don't care what people will say.

They will mock you. They will ridicule you.

Don't pay attention to their statements. Follow your plan to the end.

5. Seek truth.

If your heart is always in the pursuit of truth, you'll gain knowledge and learn wisdom.

You don't need a preacher or counselor to constantly be on your doorposts advising you.

6. Appreciate beauty.

Stay away from ugliness of any form. Ugliness will always make you dwell on the negative side of life.

Appreciate beautiful nature. Stare at beautiful people and architecture.

7. Be kind.

8. Eye for eye. Tooth for tooth.

Don't allow criminals or sociopaths to go scot-free.

Forgiveness should come after punishment.

9. Learn to see the light in people.

No one is utterly useless.

However, don't pay attention to the unrepentant fool.

10. Learn to provide value.

Value will give you what you want or attract you to the people you admire.

11. Don't beg for food.

Don't beg for money.

Better to die poor and broke than to become a beggar.

Refuse to see begging as your last option.

Your ego should block you from begging.

It is better to do the dirtiest and most dangerous work to put food on your table than beg people.

Begging will hinder you from creating value and achieving freedom.

12. Always be optimistic.

No matter how tragic your travails are, be optimistic that one day you'll overcome.

Pessimism is a joy spoiler. You'll end up corrupting your soul and never see good in yourself or others.

13. Don't be an introvert.

Be part of a community.

No man is an island. Among others, you'll find a solution to some of your problems.

14. Learn to give. Be hesitant to receive.

The giver is always higher than the receiver.

Givers are lords over receivers. Just as it is better to be a lender than a borrower.

15. Dress nice. Smell nice.

Luxury isn't only in the cost. How you wear luxury matters.

Hardly anybody will ask you the cost of your shoes and clothes. So, you don't need to break the bank.

16. Life is a marathon. But it's better to run like a cheetah than walk like a snail.

Resources in life are scarce; first come, first serve.

Make smart moves always.

17. Avoid procrastination.

What needs to be done today should not be carried over to tomorrow. Because tomorrow might be too late.

18. Think in years, not days, weeks, or months.

This will help you know how to calibrate your time and work.

If I continue doing this for 5 years where will I be in the next 5 years?

It's important to curtail your foolishness early.

19. Hope is not a strategy.

Good work is.

Make sure you are doing something meaningful instead of wishing for a pool of Bethsaida miracles.

Those who work have no fear of the future.

20. Value people that value you.

Don't waste time on people who see you as trash. Except you are making money from them. However, dignity is better than the price of labor.

21. Don't just learn a skill.

Learn a skill you can easily leverage before the big success.

22. Humans are cunning and manipulative. Even you.

Learn to understand the game. And learn to protect your integrity.

23. People want you to fail. Because your failure will prove their points against you.

It's more reason you must work hard to prove them wrong.

They are your motivating factor for success, albeit from a contradictory angle.

24. Don't be afraid of failure.

You'll fail. So, allow yourself to fail.

Failure is part of progress. Life circumstances are not linear. It's haphazard and random.

Failure will teach you a good lesson.

Thanks.
Make sure your vampireness is strong enough. Or you will become a victim.
Best to let go.

-Be skeptical about everybody, a benefit of doubt is what you need when dealing with humans, doesn't matter if it's Nigerians or folks from other part of the world.

-Do not lend Nigerians money, most of us sulk when it's payback time.

-Nigerians don't learn from history they rather repeat the same mistakes and expect a different result.

-The ideal life is a lie, you'd fail and win so prepare your mind to deal with those two variables like friends.

-Science have it limit, so should you but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be open minded enough.

-Once in a while, skip the media and their manipulations, same goes for social media too.

-Trust nobody, pastor aren't saints neither are the shamans too.

-Most politicians are sub humans. Doesn't matter if they are Nigerians or not.

-Every man have a price, until the right amount is placed on the table you'd discovered that your fire talking man/woman of integrity can't afford his temptations.

-As a religious head be prepared to have your faith challenged, your beliefs questioned do not fret at it, it's all part of life.

-Assume less.

Thanks.
25) never borrow anybody money you cant afford to loose....
they would come like a wounded sheep for loan once its payback time they become lions and you wouldn't get your money without raising dust

Great nuggets. However, disagree with this: "Resources in life are scarce; first come, first served."
Abundant mentality is what everyone who craves greatness should adopt this new year.

CaveAdullam:

24. Don't be afraid of failure.

You'll fail. So, allow yourself to fail.
Failure is part of progress. Life circumstances are not linear. It's haphazard and random.

Failure will teach you a good lesson.
The above ones are my principal guide, the rest are side talk. These are the real deals for me.
1. Promise is a shiitt. Don't base your plan on promises but just what you can gather together on your own. Hard work, smart plan, smart work too.
2. Have a short term goals like what you want to achieve in five years. Work towards achieving them on yearly basis and measure your progress each year to see how you are doing
3. Ignore the haters around you, family and friends, colleagues and neighbours. The more you perceive their hate, the more it reinforces your belief that you are doing well. They are close to you doesn't mean that they're happy with your progress.
4. Don't let the fear of failing scare you. When you take action, success and failure share that 100% between themselves but when you don't take action, failure alone owns that 100%.

I had a five year plan in 2018 which I laid to rest in at end of 2022. I achieved it.
I took a break in 2023 in which I rewarded myself with a house.
I set another five year plan for myself in 2024 which had already started till 2028, if we're still going to be alive by then.

What is the meaning of DON'T BE AN INTROVERT 🙄🙄

YOU CAN'T LEARN OR UNLEARN IT, people are born into it, you can't just switch it off.

Only an extrovert will include being an introvert in a list of things he shouldn't do because he can't be an introvert.
