I believe they want a bank statement free from minor credits, even if it’s a bank reversal.
I don’t understand the income and family part.

Please chase this up, the referenced money makes no sense. They refused me, then my solicitor submitted a PAP, and they re-refused me again. They kept shifting the goal post. I chased it to a point where they couldn’t come up with a defensible refusal ground and if I took it to the court, they’d have had to pay my fees. Even after their legal department told them it wasn’t defensible, the ECO and ECM were still moving mad. I’ve attached their internal notes I got when I requested for my files and comment via subject access request. They overturned that refusal.

Can we use a mutual funds account in my name as POF? It has enough money for the trip and more. Inflow goes in there every month as savings from us.
I have many transactions I can’t explain easily in my 6 months statement from my salary acct

If a courier return service was purchased from VFS, your passport and notification of the decision will be delivered to the chosen address. If not, your passport can be collected from the UK Visa Application Centre during the designated passport collection times (Please check our website for details). - VFS Global

Hi, I wouldn't advise using a mutual funds account just because the funds available for your proposed trip need to be liquid, i.e. the funds must be immediately available for you to utilize. However, in the case of mutual fund investments, these usually need to be liquidated, which can take a day or a few days. Since you have transactions that you can't easily explain in your 6 months statement, can you possibly provide account statements for the past three months, four months or five months then? In your case, it's obviously better to provide bank account statements showing liquid funds over a three-month period, four-month period or five-month period than providing a mutual funds account as POF. For instance, if you have a USD domiciliary account with at least $5,000, that will be good to show for a 1-week trip to the UK.

Aww Thank you so much Sis for your reply, omo I won't advise anyone to use their courier service, they are really a big joke. Imagine some number called today to say we should come to their office in Benin to pick up, after paying almost 55k to waybill from lagos to Benin. A journey of 4 hrs turned to a journey of 7 days with vfs global, it's like the parcel has been in their office since until I wrote to their head office which they claimed to be investigating the matter before the kpako courier called today. They finally brought it this evening......

Please where did you get tracking ID for the parcel, my mum said she was only given a small slip without much info on it , I have used all the numbers on the slip to try to track her passport on dhl and gig website to no avail, not been able to track this passport is really frustrating. Please someone help with how I can get tracking details please

Please I opted for courier delivery from VFS for passport. I have received an email that the passport has been dispatched via courier . I was expecting a follow up mail with courier details and tracking number but nothing till now. Does anyone have helpful details on this issue . Kindly help

I got the same email this afternoon for my mother in law's 2 year visit visa. It means the visa was approved since there was no accompanying refusal letter.
She did her biometrics on 20th Dec.

It is now GIG these folks are using.. no DHL. + no tracking details…
Just pray there is a GIG branch close to you and for the next few days pick up unknown numbers calling you as they maybe calling to get delivery information.

Just returned from UK today.

Super tired.

Was a mixed holiday, as I lost an uncle on Christmas Day. First time experiencing how people pass away in the UK, going to Kings College Hospital to see the body moved to the Morgue. 😢 😭
