Let me start by saying drugs are dangerous and I do not endorse any type of substance abuse. I really don’t, especially the one I’m talking about here as it is potentially dangerous to your mental well-being if you don’t know what you are doing. So I’d heard of DMT don a Mike Tyson podcast I watched and instantly became intrigued by it. I suffer from intense social anxiety and thought DMT might be a cure for me. I had researched all things psychedelic for a year before I was able to put all my thoughts together and decide to push forward and try it. So I did my research on how to make it, after learning that, I looked for a place where I could buy the source material. I imported it and went to chemical village in Ojodu to get the remaining things I needed to synthesize it. For those who don’t know, DMT is an extremely potent psychedelic used for centuries by people of different cultures, it is the guide for several religious ceremonies and is thought to be the source of Mayan culture, religion, design etc. It’s also quite populate in the Amazonia region of Brazil. Anyway, I finally got all the tools together and began the synthesis process. When I was done, the end result was an orange goo called ‘jungle spice’. I didn’t have a pipe so I just took some tobacco and mixed it up. I started by taking one drag, the common knowledge is you take 3 drags and blast off into a psychedelic experience where you have something akin to a really spiritual experience. Dmt is not a drug, before you take it you might think it’s a drug. After you take it you understand that it is a sentient spirit. I repeat it is not a drug, it is a living, breathing substance that can Bleep up your mind from the things it will show you. Let me just say that a lot of people speak very highly of it as it can have profoundly beneficial effects especially for mental health, but in the same breath it can have potentially devastating effects. You never know which you are going to get.

First time I tried it, nothing really happened as it was a minor toke I took. I just noticed what you call a body load and a sense that I could see clearer. Almost like a filter had been removed from my eyes. All the colors were just a bit brighter and in more definition. Not very noticeable but it was there.

I gathered my courage, and took a few more tokes, this time I got the body load and some closed eye visuals where I was seeing geometry and patterns. One pattern I clearly saw in the wall was apple’s icon image for photos. If you have an iPhone just look at the photos/gallery icon. It was definitely designed by someone who gets inspiration from dmt.

As soon as I took the toke, my eyes just wanted to close. As soon as I closed them, my inner eyes opened and I started seeing. I was seeing gears turning very slowly. Then something told me, see those fears trying so hard to rotate, those are the gears of your life trying to roll, but my earthly actions were stopping them from doing so smoothly. The message was meant to let me know to concentrate on the things I do that make the gears not roll the way God designed them to.

At this point, I was searching for this thing called breakthrough where you break pass the visuals and geometry etc into genuine enlightenment. It’s basically unconsciousness where your essence has travelled to another dimension and you can get to see the source code of everything. So I just statutes puffing, not caring about the dosage. At this point, I heard a clear voice say “respect me”. That was basically the dmt and my brain trying to pass me a message not to overdo it. But by then I was determined to go for breakthrough so I took one more large puff, held it in for 10 seconds. And before I could even breathe out, I achieved it! Breakthrough! I was in the other side. And. It. Was. TERRIFYING.
As soon as I broke through, I sat straight up. There were no more visuals. I could see this world clearly through my eyes, but my mind was another thing entirely. Information was rushing into my brain so fast, I felt stuck - unable to move. And then I heard a voice say, “now, I have you”.

I tried the breathing exercises and ran away. For some reason, as soon as I feel the first sign of the DMT a mortal fear grips me. I guess it’s my ego trying to keep things the same, afraid I will see it for it’s true self.

Actually, the reason was that I was on other psycho active medication.

According to you, you used DMT to stop a drug habit of yours ---- or maybe you simply exchanged one drug habit for another---and not anxiety though where there are many out there who are reported to have been hit by anxiety after using DMT. So, is DMT prescribed for social anxiety or are you simply repeating what you have heard others claim?

The thing about DMT is, once you smoke it, there is almost nothing you can do to stop the trip, you just have to go through it. And by it, I mean a galactic trip of things you could never ever ever imagine. DMT allows you shrug the veil that connects to u to this world and see things humans just aren’t conditioned to see. Our eyes limit is, our brains limit is, our physical body limits us, but once you smoke DMT then all bets are off. You could either have an amazing journey through creation, the cosmos and the metaphysical or you could have the trip from hell where it’s like something called a hyper slap. A hyper slap is - imagine that the universe slapped you.

As soon as I took the 3 puffs, I heard a clear voice tell me. “Respect” as in respect this substance. But I pushed past it. And suddenly the first thing I noticed is that I could see clearer, colors were brighter and more vivid, next thing I felt something called a body load, where your body knows you have taken something spiritual and every cell in your body begins to prime you for the experience. Next thing my y room starts to burst out in very dynamic colors, one thing I remember seeing was the iPhone photos icon image on my wall and thinking whoever designed that was inspired by DMT (go check it out). Next thing my room started to assume cartoonish dimensions as everything began swimming in and out. At that point, I had to close my eyes. And as soon as I closed my earthly eyes, my spiritual eyes shot open. I started seeing even as my eyes were closed. First thing I saw was gears struggling hard to turn. I remember telepathically understanding that those were the gears of my life trying hard to turn but my habits were making it hard to do so. Next, thing I knew, I started to receive information at the speed of light. All of this was so overwhelming that I can’t even remember any of it. It felt like the universe was trying to show me everything that ever existed and ever will exist in one second. Your brain can’t take all of it and so when you are coming back you tend to forget most of what you u saw. The only thing I came back with is that we are all one. Anyway, I had a terrible trip. All I could see was a pair of the most evil- intending eyes I ever saw, just telepathically telling me to just ingest some more DMT so it could show me the rest of itself. I definitely did not want to see it. At the height of the trip, I shot off the bed into a sitting position, and my eyes could see but I was almost fully disconnected from this reality. Follow-up. 3 years after. My social anxiety is gone (I even wonder why I was so anxious now), still have not smoked weed- which I stopped because of DMT use. And I also have not used DMT since (although I’m thinking about doing so to update my OS .
