The more time Amorim spends with the team,the better they will get. This is without prejudice to those players he needs to jettison by the summer.

Liverpool will come out guns-blazing in the second half and try to streamroll us. It’s up to the lad to slow things down and prevent them from playing their game. Once we cooled down their gragra we can inflict real damage on them.

We usually play well in the big games. It’s the matches we’re expected to win that the players make stvpid mistakes and concede unnecessary goals.

We need Chido to start training with the first team ASAP. If he’s better than Orobosola and Hojlund, Amorim has to give him some minutes to assess his worthiness. Hojlund has to be more clinical. His chance today was from a difficult angle but he didn’t put in enough effort, technique, etc.

I doubt if Obi-Martins could be worse than Zirkzee or Hojlund on current form. He would gain some valuable experience if Amorim promoted him into the first team squad. Amorim probably has his own ideas and preferences for a centre forward moving forwards.
