Onana had a solid game today. Vital saves that kept us in the game.
Onana DMW. cheesy

No lies told. He did very well today.

Good saves and his passing was also on point.

They lost because the whole team was disjointed from start to finish... it wasn't a case of bad referee decisions or hitting the woodwork 200 times.

As a matter of utmost urgency, Amorim needs to get it right vs the lower teams - na there the majority points dey!
Was the whole team disjointed ….

1. For Nottingham’s goal where Bruno attempted a foolish 1-2 with Yoro and Onana couldn’t catch a straight shot?

2. For Wolves second goal when Garnacho loses possession carelessly and we conceded from the resulting counter?

3. When Joelington and Isak headed in from close range uncontested with a United player less than a few cms away from them?

Was the team also disjointed when Tottenham and Wolves bullied our players, suffocated Onana, and scored from direct corners?!

We need to start winning against the small teams, yeah. And that will happen when we turn up against them like we do against the big teams. Shikena.

Independent:
Wolves saw off a tepid Manchester United at Molineux on Boxing Day with a 2-0 victory that lifted them out of the relegation zone

All these are excuses baba...as evidenced by the "feeble" and "tepid" adjectives used to describe the performances..

Even without those mistakes, wetin we play?

Yeah, the manager needs to get the players to turn up - he can't be allowing and watching everyone "turn up or down" like a transistor radio whenever they want...atleast he has shown us that they aren't as bad as initially projected.

Read the discussion from the beginning

The common pattern is that we are struggling with tepid and poor displays vs Lower teams and this needs to be addressed by the manager - that's my point!

Incessantly swinging from " quality of our players is too poor " to "they are actually good but inconsistent" rigmarole, is getting boring and tiring AF!

If he needs to dress them down publicly or beg them privately for us to see improvements in motivation and ultimately, performance, so be it!

The excuses are laughable at best - this is usually the case when virtually everyone is fit and available for selection

Exactly my point. Today, they are not good enough, tomorrow, oh they are great but no dedication. Also, they talk about overhaul and surgery but then most of the current players were not here 2-3 years ago. We currently have 8-10 new players in the first team. Unless Rashford and Dalot is the team.

After watching today's game. I have come to the conclusion that Manchester United do not have clinical and competent finishers. Imagine Martinez teaching our striker how it is done by scoring from the insane angel. And Zirkzee passing the ball to a defender ( Maguire) instead of finishing by himself.

But I don't blame Zirkzee much because he was scared how United fans will treat him if he would played and missed.

The boy hurriedly transferred the burden to Maguire who was better placed anyways.

Assuming he shot and missed, na for that spot him career at Man utd for end cheesy

Ownership is key and thankfully, the man isn't shying away from it by sitting down cross-legged and blaming the players...

Amorim:
We need the leaders to step up to help the other guys and I'm the most responsible person here to improve the performances," he added https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/crl36g92eglo

Check the Internet.
It was on some stupid websites before the match started.
Very disrespectful in my opinion.
Even if United are at the wrong part of the league table, their pedigree and reputation preceeds them.
No matter how poor they are,a 20 time premier league winner should be respected at all times.

Regarding Zirkzee. I think it was the right the decision the pass the ball. It wasnt a good angle for a shot at goal and Liverpool also had 2 players next to Alison. I also think Zirkzee was offside anyways.

Ultimately I think he was offside but a bad pass to Maguire nonetheless.

Here’s another United player admitting that they struggle with motivation and belief against smaller teams.

But Adisa and Nitrogen will keep arguing that it’s the system. As if the inconsistency wasn’t there with a different system in place.

According to nitrogen, the players are already giving it their all, we just need to simply change from 343 to 442 for us to start winning games and scoring goals

Garnacho not shooting first and asking questions later, is an improvement..

So many times he passed to Dalot yesterday, he'd have cut in and shot..I hope he keeps this on..

He is learning to be more of a team player. Hopefully he gets back on track with his development soon so he can start more games and offer more threat

This is just a reminder that ETH refused to play Ugarte at first and said he needed time to get acclimatized to United and the EPL.

Olodo coach.
