Hello everyone! Please I need your opinion.

My visa was refused twice last year so I’m planning to reapply again.

NOTE!
- I submitted my dad’s personal account, his business account and my own personal accounts.
- He transferred some money to my account(30m) and we did a gift deed affidavit.
- I paid one semester tuition (It’s a one year programme)

My application was refused based on financial reasons. After requesting for my GCMS notes, I found out that they focused more on my dad’s business account which had some lump sums and they didn’t even check my personal account.

Now, to move forward, I want to pay my complete tuition and I intend to use only my account which has #30,000,000 as POF for living expenses because I don’t want my dad’s account to complicate things. The money has been in my account for 4 months. Do you think that will be enough?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 1:15pm On Jan 09, 2025
If you don't have any deficit, then 30M will be enough for living expenses and miscellaneous.

Hello, please house I have some questions.
I am planning to applying for my visa in June. Regarding POF I plan to have 40m in my account which will be gotten from a sales of land. This money will be in my account in Jan then I will provide statement of account from Feb-May do you I have to explain to the VSO where the funds is from since it has been in my account before the 4 months bank statement.
Also, it's my mum's land that we sold and it will be used to sponsor me do I have to show her bank statement since the funds will be in my own account. Please what other documents do I need to show apart from the land receipts and the land survey for the sale of the land.

I used Mpower to finance the tuition is it okay if I tell the VSO that I will still be getting stipend from my office and fee from house leasing will be using that to settle the loan without working over there.

So the breakdown is that for the 40m, I will remove 20635 CAD for expenses, 3k CAD for miscellaneous and the rest of the 40m will be used to pay the 12months interest on the MPower loan. while stipend from office and rent lease will be use to settle the Mpower loan. I will appreciate you your assistance. Thanks

To be honest, the standards are high now as the yearly quotas continue to reduce further.

They didn't focus on your acct because the focus was on the source of the money and you planning to reapply without your father's acct doesn't address the issue. In my opinion, the source of the funds inside that your acct still has to be addresses since it's your father's supporting docs you will submit. Hence it's important to still explain those lump sums and attach his acct statement to the new application.
Mind you, some people have paid full tuition, did GIC of 20k and still chop refusal because the source of funds weren't explained with appropriate supporting docs.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Doladollz: 2:22pm On Jan 09, 2025
Actually the source of the money in my account is from a sale of land. The money was given to me as a gift and there’s a gift deed affidavit to prove that. I’m thinking it’s not necessary to show my dad’s account statement since the money in my account is enough to cover the living costs and the tuition will be paid in full …. What do you think?

Please Guys I need help
,if my 1 year tuition is 20,000 cad and I’ve paid 10k cad already for my first semester tuition.

Do I demonstrate a balance of 10k cad + 20,635 living expenses?

Or

20,000 Cad + 20,635 living expenses

despite paying half of it already.

He’s there as a student (College). I was thinking of applying for a Visitor’s visa but I was advised to reapply for a Study Visa since I’ve gotten my GCMS notes and I now know the actual reason why I was denied.

Hi, you will remove what you already paid. But submit your tuition receipt with your application.

So, you demonstrate 10K + 20.6 K + miscellaneous.

Either you use your personal account or your dad's account, you'll need to proof the source (s) of lump sums deposited into your account with documented evidences. Without that, it might be difficult.

Yes you need to show more documents including your mom's bank statement being the receiver of the land sale proceed before it was transferred into your account.

Then you'll need to present a copy of duly executed Deed of Assignment or Deed of Transfer prepared and stamped by a lawyer between your mom (vendor) and the buyer and the buyer's name must correspond with the depositor on her bank statement.

How much do you think is a fair price to pay an agent for visa processing?

I get to provide every document except the SOP.

Please let me know.

Thank you

Your husband is a student, and you also want to apply for a student visa.your husband's program does not include a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) ?? Or what are the benefits for both husband and wife being international students in Canada, especially given the current situation in the country? Please plan beyond just landing in canada!

If your children are of school age, please do not apply for a visitor' s visa for them. They will be denied. My wife got approved for open work permit and my kids were denied because I applied for a visitors visa for them.

You can write a letter about the schools in your area that you wanted them to attend. Or you can quote part of the website where it says those in elementary outside of Canada are not required to submit letter of acceptance.

I stand to be corrected on this.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by technix: 10:24pm On Jan 11, 2025
On the visa form, just put N/A in the school details. On the application portal, you can upload the parent's admission letter for them. You don't need to scout for school for them, it's an open study permit.

You will get scammed with this approach to a visa application. You can handle everything yourself, from admission to the visa application process. Stop seeking just any type of visa; that era is over, so you don’t end up stranded in Canada. It seems you are the same person who was looking for a canada visit visa and is now seeking agent for a student visa!
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Mastercraft360: 6:13pm On Jan 12, 2025
Not me.

I did everything about admission myself up to receiving my PAL. I would love to apply for VISA myself but need guidance especially with writing SOP.

I was going to use an agent for the VISA application only but her price is too high.

I'd appreciate if anyone who's familiar with the process guide me to apply for VISA and I will appreciate afterwards.

Thank you
