Hydronium:You can only probably use it during the day with solar if you use a Delta 2 or it will die in about 3-4 hours. My fridge which is non inverter is 90-100w. Those inverter fridges or refrigerators are the real deal. They can last over 15 hours with the delta 2 |

oladele239:Yeah, I believe you mean the “Cloud Energy” product. I’ve seen it. I have done research but can’t find a ceiling fan of 15Watts max. Most common ones I’ve seen are 30Watts. |

iamlammy:Yes. I use it only while charging my D2 during the day. |

gsparks01:I may be the first to file a warranty claim on an ecoflow product here. Happy to report that ecoflow have replaced the faulty unit. They were so professional in resolving it. After trying a few things remotely, they offered to replace it. The Nigerian ecoflow service center was not really helpful, almost dismissive so I spoke to customer care in charge of Africa (South Africa). These ones were sympathetic and helped me almost instantly and ultimately directed the service center in Lagos to replace. So far so good. Leaving this here in case someone needs to file a claim too with evidence (I sent a video explaining the issue). I must say, for their awesome customer service alone, I can boldly tell people to get their products without fear. 🔊 |

gsparks01:Stopped writing on here for a while when I found this, I couldn't keep writing and encouraging people to buy a brand which a certain model has been reported to stop working by many people, as a result of a failed firmware update. Was so glad to know the unit was replaced, moving forward, I'll advise to not have Ecoflow power stations, especially the delta family connected to the internet. What good could come from the update? No update is going to make your power station charge faster, or increase its battery capacity, the Bluetooth connection is just enough. My power station has not been connected to the internet for weeks now, and it'll remain so permanently, having learned updates could crash the system, before all of this ,I had stopped getting the power station connected to my home WiFi, one day I was using a tool to check traffic from my devices (routine check) then I confirmed the power station was uploading files, these files were most likely usage logs and such, but I wasn't comfortable with that, no permission requested so. This could be a way to actually track the number of times you have cycled the batteries in your power station ( so you can't lie about this when you need the warranty to work for you), and I'm certain Ecoflow could shut down any power station remotely, advanced connectivity and privacy they say are mutually exclusive, well, it is what it is, but i don't like it, kicked it off my home internet, turns out it was a good move for other reasons. |

Babatundehy:I didn't and wouldn't dare connect this one to the Internet until it gets to the point where it's unusable without a connection. |

Babatundehy:How do I kick off the Delta 2 from the internet? It is permanently connected here. Is there a way to reset? |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by Babatundehy: 9:58pm On Jan 09, 2025 |
iamlammy:Change your home internet password, or get on the list of connected devices and block the power station. |

| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by twosquare(m): 11:42pm On Jan 09, 2025 |
gsparks01:Oh...you were the one with the update issue. Didn't know you had to send it in. Glad it is now replaced. Lesson learnt. So far you stick with Bluetooth connection...it should be fine. You can't be forced on Internet. It is just like a smartphone. You can choose to update or not and it doesn't stop it from working flawlessly. Out of the factory like that is often better. Enjoy. |

I don't know who needs to hear this but surge protectors aka TV guards are not good enough to protect your power stations (This might be obvious to senior men but I learnt today) Mine went into an overload this morning. I was charging at 600w because our light has been poor for some days and after a while, it made the clicking sound and tried to restart the charging process, I reduced the charging speed to 450w and the same thing happened after a while and I further reduced the speed to 200w and after a while it stopped charging and flashed the overload warning Solution: Followed the process I saw on Reddit to disconnect all cables and reset it by pressing the power button for 10-15s and then shut down for 2 hours I did the first 2 but I only left it for like 15 minutes because I was panicking 😅 So, I took it our other apartment to try it with the voltage regulator. That's where I realised that incoming voltage was pretty low than expected. Sha, the unit worked and has been fully charged. Lessons: 1. Use voltage regulators to properly protect the unit 2. If you must use a surge protector, disconnect the unit on any charging fluctuation |

| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by twosquare(m): 8:24am On Jan 10, 2025 |
snezBaba:NEPA gives more of dirty power. That's why it's not clean energy. That clicking sound is what I hate. Reason I used solar panel to charge it 95% of the time. No clicking of paka paka...or fear of surge, etc. Na rest of mind now I dey. |

snezBaba:can stabilizers also work as voltage regulators i have a 2kva stablizer |
| Re: I Bought This Powerbank For 1.2 Million Naira PHOTOS by Babatundehy: 9:48am On Jan 10, 2025 |
leslieu63:The same thing, a voltage stabilizer is also a voltage regulator, these days, some models ( I know of the flat types meant to be attached to your wall, Air conditioner type, some people say) from brands like Qasa and duravolt even have a "stability' button on them, when this button is pushed it works harder to maintain stability of the output voltage (10 percent more stable) even if the input voltage is going crazy, you're good. |

Babatundehy:Edit: Voltage regulator/stabiliser has an inbuilt transformer/diode/resistor to step up or step down voltage to within 220-240V. Voltage protector trips off supply to the appliance when supply is less than 170V or more than 260V. This is the mode of operation of TV/fridge guards. It is better to get a voltage protector with a digital monitor if you cannot get hands on the original Sollatek product. Most of the so-called TV/Fridge guards in the market are crap. I use the Binatone AVP3000. |
