A Nigerian woman, Amara Venessa has
cancelled her wedding.

The traditional wedding was scheduled to be
held on January 8, 2025, in Otolo, Nnewi.

In a Facebook post on January 7, 2025, Amara
said she called off the wedding due to personal
reasons, adding that she “needs love and her
own man”

"Anywhere you see me just dash me money cos
2024 showed me shege and pepper with a little
bit of ice cream mixed with bitter leaf then
medium size of fufu and ora soup but I came out
stronger and better," she wrote in a Facebook
post on January 7, 2024.

"I was suppose to be married tomorrow but I
cancelled it due to some personal reasons. I
can't afford anymore situations in my life that
bring out the worst in me

“I can't afford bonding with another wrong soul.
It's exhausting and requires too much for me to
recover from. I need calmness and gentleness in my life. I need love and I need my own man."

She has rushed online to paint the wrong picture for us so that when the real story comes out, some of us will be confused which one to believe. Not me, experience has taught me not to believe her story. I can bet my balls that whatever happened was 90% her fault but she is here to curry sympathy and mask her sivia pain.

Probably it's a situation of highest bidder takes it all but greedy families, so they don't really care if she loved him or not so far d man can drop money

Later some people will realize money is needed truly but in some situations u need love

The man will be a fool if he doesn't collect in full every single dime he invested in the marriage preparation. If you tell men to hold women accountable they will say no women should neve spend a dime i pity such men. A woman who has spent her own money also in the wedding preparation won't hust wake up and cancel a wedding knowing fully well she will be on the loosing side if she did that

The man is good to demand for every penny and if not given he can take the matter to court to seek redress. A lot of anomaly go on in this country and we just allow it to slide without legal actions, that is really bad

I can tell you for free that she called off the marriage because she discovered he didn't have as much money as she thought he did.
Challenge her to give you specific actual reason why she called it off, not the vague buzz words she is throwing around.
