The truth is that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the core of the Air Nigeria project. The minister was just be Nigerian. Alleged to be making money from side projects such as branding etc. The facts are
1. The core investor was Ethiopian Air, one of the best airlines in the world. Also, Ethiopian has experience with this arrangement. (Asky)
2. Government only had 5 percent shares in the venture.
3. All aircraft were to be supplied by Ethiopian and management by Ethiopian. That's why I laugh when people were screaming that aircraft was painted. That's exactly what was in the agreement. I could go on and on.

The minister was accused of inflating airport contracts and awarding same to family. This is what tainted the Air Nigeria project. But honestly it would have been a massive success.
Let it compete with Air Peace which is bringing new aircraft soon and Nigeria is back!

National carrier is one of the faces of a nation, they use it to project national image. When a plane landed in another country with the country name boldly written on it, no one will see the name and not mention or read it; so it is a way of putting Nigeria print everywhere the plane reach.

That previous government failed to handled it well doesn't mean another government can not take care of it well....

Well, I will never discard any view or opinion during conversation(not argument).
The context of BVN, National ID, DL, international passport and NIMC speaks more to Data gathering than security, but it also help in Security too which I am so sure it's helping already, but their purpose is not solely to reduce security.

NIN is for social register.
BVN is to monitor financial transactions(financial security)
Drivers licence is to ascertain that you've gone to driving school or training.
National ID is to ascertain your Nationality( this can help to curb illegal migration)
