No woman sits with a man as passengers on Okada in the north.
It's either Okada man & one woman passenger or Okada man & one man passenger.

First time I experienced that nonsense was in Ota Ogun State. I had climbed bike. Oya move now, he said passenger never complete. Wtf? It only made meaning when i saw that the other bikes were carrying two each. It was one smelly skank that came to join me on the bike sha. Couldn't wait for her to drop the fu(c)k off.

It's not the matter of being liberal or conservative.
Generally, in the north 2 adult passengers of opposite gender don't sit on okada together, whether Christian or Muslim.
In fact if you come to the north & try to enter okada with a woman, it will look strange/weird to an average northerner, whether she sits in front or behind you, doesn't matter.
2 male passengers on Okada is however, normal in the north, but they must have known each other, maybe friends or brothers; not 2 strangers.

Is it that Okada are so scarce in the south that a man has to pair with a female passenger or is it a cultural thing?

Like, is it not possible for only one man or only one woman to climb Okada in the south?
