I know, but to fetch with copters or fire trucks, you still need a lot of time to and fro. That's where reservoirs in different communities come in. They are linked to hydrants in remotest of areas for easier and quicker access and usage in situations like this. It is just like having a borehole with pipes directly into your shower vs fetching from a well. Time is of the essence. When you consistently pummel fire with water, it loses its strength and dies, but when you take breaks in between, your guess is as good as mine.

The fire, along with the others, have placed 130,000 people across the city to be under evacuation orders.
