Cold weather, grilled cheese sandwich and tomato basil soup. If you know, you know smiley

(Hubby had a turkey avocado melt).
I have carrot soup with turkey avocado melt on the menu today. I just need to get up and make it.

Maybe this is my sign.

Dinner was a family affair. Made my signature Jamaican Jerk chicken, hubby made the rice and peas, daughter fried the plantains and soon made the jerk sauce😊
You're doing well 👏

One thing I did was to stop buying stew beef and other beef.
I switched to Prime Tri Tip Roast! Never went back to regular beef part or stew beef for stews.

Prime Tri Tip roast makes your stews very tasty delicious and has that Nigeria beef tastes vibes!

Expensive yes, but taste so great in nig style stews, suya and soups.

I buy ginger seasonal. I posted loads of ginger I bought once here if I can remember correctly cos I was so excited. Whenever you shop and see those big type, buy as many as possible. Then prep and freeze. Cos you may go again and not see it anymore or see those that look like fingers.
As for garlic, I buy peeled garlic, chop and freeze in freezer bag. You will get peeled garlic in Asian shops online. Don't know how it is your end.
Some of the ginger, I cut and freeze, when I want to make juice, take and add kiss
It will last up to one week in the fridge.
Depending on the ingredients used, I do freeze my juice. Though there are specific fruits that don't react well to freezing.

So Ahnie isn't smart after all.
When dealing with deadly trolls you should apply smartness knowing failure to cover your tracks properly you'll be severely dealt with...
So did I know Ahnie is the one trolling me with different pictures and names
Fist I went through the heliveson screenshot I observed the following
Just 1 Sim Card 4G LTE
The status bar
The Phoenix and Facebook signs situated at the left flank.
The three navigation button.
She failed to crop it out when screenshotting.
I made observations and deduced that her writing style is similar to that of ahnie whose accounts happened to be inactive but currently disguising low key with the Caaz account.
I went through Caaz's post history and observed her diaries where she posted several screenshots without cropping the status bar as well.
My observations were corrected after I also saw
1 Sim card enabled 4LTE
The Phoenix and Facebook app situated at left
Same similar battery status with that of heliveson account.
I then had to deduce that this woman is still being pained her pictures were leaked that's why she's coming at me.
Thanks to God I have her pictures as well with her full names and account number.
I will feed and entertain your eyes tomorrow unless she apologizes and take down all those posts.

And you can imagine she's still in the habit of defaming people
Heeei Annie picture was leaked here ke abeg if you or anybody get am make them post am abeg make I see

Grilled cheese.
Infact, all kiss grin
Thanks, love
So grilled cheese is really easy. Heat pan or griddle (on the griddle I used 300 degrees, I'm guessing medium-low on a stove), butter and mayo/miracle whip on the sides of the bread that will touch the pan, then the cheese on the top side of one slice (I used Swiss and Muenster). Place other slice on top of cheese with the buttered side out. Leave about 3-5 minutes, flip,
another 3-5 minutes, depending on how hot your pan is. I like to press down when I flip, but not necessary.
That's it.

Turkey-avocado was even easier. Butter outside like the grilled cheese, layer cooked turkey bacon or turkey slices with avocado and cheese, add favorite dressing (hubby likes honey mustard),3-5 minutes per side.

This is the first time I've noticed it or it was noticeable to me.
I wonder if it's a change in where the majority of meat is coming or that I just paid attention because I was eating more meat.
it's the feed. Plus the meat is really lean, so no marbling for flavor and the reason our traditional dishes are so heavily seasoned.

Yeah it is expensive no be small. It sure has that Nigeria meat tastes/vibes.

People who tastes my stews or soups are always asking which meat i use grin I give them name and they are like girl, very delicious! Did you get it from Nigeria grin lol! No now, it Prime Tri Tip. I eat mostly fish but if I want beef for stew, that's the only meat part I use.

I tell them look sis, don't offer me tinko or anyhow meat when I visit you grin

I recently started living alone, and cooking isn’t exactly my strong suit yet. My meals are currently an endless loop of noodles, spaghetti, bread, and rice. I’m trying to make them a bit healthier by adding veggies like carrots, peas, and tomatoes (technically a fruit?).

Loads of info.

Had my job not been demanding, I will love to go to culinary school. I only watch YouTube videos whenever I'm relaxing. Love, love sampling dishes.
My family has since given up grin

I commend you on sir. How you bring out time as a guy to prepare all these on daily basis is still mind boggling to me. Your wife will be super proud. You're one of the reasons I visit here.
Well done sir.

Thank you for the compliment.

It isn't all my efforts all of the time as my wife also cooks when she's chanced. That said, I don't think most men that don't cook don't do so because of time. I think it is usually about interest and perhaps, circumstances. My wife usually works till 6pm or 7pm most days when she is scheduled. Do I expect her to drive home and then cook when I get back not later than 5:15pm? Wouldn't that be unreasonable if I know how to and just decide not to?
