I have come across many Nigerian men, both young and middle age, who are always in the habit of criticizing young women on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, etc, for exposing their bodies and twerking. The common lines you hear are 'These ones still get parents'?...'Useless girls'...'Ehen, that's the only thing they can offer'...'See them, fish brain'...'Ashawo'...'Olosho', etc.

When you visit the pages of these same women that are constantly being abused, you will be amazed by the number of followers they have. Some of them have millions of followers while others have followers running into hundreds of thousands.

My question is: Who are the people following these women? Are their followers ghosts? You cannot tell me that majority of their followers are women, because the truth is that their twerking and body exposure attract more men than women to their pages! You will criticize publicly but follow them secretly like perverts, in order to be among the first to see their videos, and end up calling men who say the slightest positive thing about these women names like SIMPS and the likes.

This type of hypocrisy is terrible and stinks like rotten eggs! Make una dey try abeg. Stop criticizing the food that you secretly salivate over.
Who are the men following such ladies;

1. Sex starved men
2. Simps
3. Feminine men
4. Noodle-back men
5. Insecure men with plenty money

It's stupid to call it hypocrisy.
CHEAP AND AFFORDABLE PRODUCTS USUALLY ATTRACT MANY CUSTOMERS.
Most men don't have the strength, resources and time that it requires to date QUALITY GIRLS with good morals and upbringing, so they just go for the EASY ONES AVAILABLE.
EVEN THOSE MEN THAT SLEEPS WITH YOU AND DATE YOU WON'T LIKE TO HAVE A SISTER DAUGHTERLIKE YOU.
THE GIRLS ARE JUST WHAT MEN USE TO COOL OFF AND RELEASE SPERMS...
THAT'S ALL.

Arguments like these are ridiculous. There are at least 4 billion men on the planet. Do you expect all to share the same opinions??

If Peter criticizes naked women on social media but John follows the same naked women on social media, has either of them spoken or acted for all men?

Clearly some men dislike it. Some men don't. And a few men in the middle are guilty of the hypocrisy you talk about.

You sure say na only men dey follow them?...Dem get female followers too.

Nor be only Nigeria,na general thing. People around the world dey call onlyfans girls H*ES yet onlyfans dey create female millionaires every week.

Following them nor mean say Dem dey admire or value them. Dem be like ashawo wey everybody wan use and dump. They're used to fulfil the most secret and shameful desires . Not to brag about

Your followers are not always your fans.

Some Ronaldo n Messi followers are not thier fans
Some wizkid n Davido followers are not their fans

Some are critics n bad Belle just following you to see mistakes in ur post
Some are following them to see sometin to criticize about
Some are even following to check for spelling mistakes in their post to laff about

YOUR FOLLOWERS ARE NOT ALWAYS YOUR FANS

some are following these gals to see news about them getting beheaded or having HIV to get sometin to talk about.

well i am all in for women rights and all that, but we have a duty to our community to not allow such behaviours be seen as a norm nor something to be emulated especially by young women, now how we go about that should also be respectful and civilised, not aimed at name calling ,body shaming or physical/mental abuse.

What always burst my bubbles is that these same men will go to their dm begging for just one night, some even go as far as send money as high as 1million naira to these women without physically seeing them, yet complain and insult them to no end,

Men encourage and promote the nuances going on in the society today yet denigrate it at the same time

Oloshos are Oloshos because men pay them for the sèx they both enjoy which women enjoy the most, then complain on what they encourage, that's why corruption, yahoo, fraud, kidnapping, skull mining is the order of the day, from the old men to young ones, because you all want to impress, spoil, and spend extravagantly on women

Later they'd say they are logical beings yet go extra mile even if it means killing, and stealing, just to satisfy women

Una never ready, cause and effect, until you guys sit down and talk to yourselves to stop enabling these rampant trait, it will continue till the end of time,

Extremely emotional beings.
Those are Simps, not real men. Know the difference.

That is why, when the same men go to their DM begging for nud* the ladies come out open to expose such useless men, infact saida borj get followers pass some pastors here in Nigeria, na because on a norm, most of these men no fit near her or have her, that is why they enjoy been their followers and watch the sultery pictures

Bobrisky is a good example. Many on Nairaland claim they’ll send him to the afterlife. Those same mongrels use burner accounts to praise him and beg for money on his official page. Hypocrisy na wrapper wey Nigerians dey tie steady.

Well, you have a point in a way.
But we can't be so sure it is same men following them. However, I do agree we mass-follow the wrong people or things.

Every educational show that used to air in Nigeria is dead. Yet BBN has survived COVID, inflation, fuel scarcity and even Tinubu.

As for Naija men, the ones quick to call women ashewo and olosho are most times the most immoral men. Nothing special about being their chosen woman.
If a man called a girl ashewo & then go after her to get laid, it's a confirmation of how cheap she is.

The same way they were calling Chidinma the murderer all sorta name.....
But their pricks dey strong like Fulani sticks , whenever they see her picture......
I no say Chidinma toto go don turn to water for prison wey she dey...... because lots of these hypocrites dey pay heavy to visit her for prison.
They're only angry with Chidinma because they desire her and she wouldn't have given them the time of day.

Most men are only angry at sugar babies because they don't have access to them, not becuase they sleep with old men for money.
