I recently started living alone, and cooking isn’t exactly my strong suit yet. My meals are currently an endless loop of noodles, spaghetti, bread, and rice. I’m trying to make them a bit healthier by adding veggies like carrots, peas, and tomatoes (technically a fruit?).

Sometimes, I wonder how Ghanaians combine flavour.

It took everything in me not to add any other ingredients into the rice. [Ghanaians take that quite personal]
The Nigerian in me almost couldn't help it.

I am trying and striving to be one nonetheless, food alone is not enough to qualify one as good. I try to be as responsible as I can however, it doesn't mean I am not irritating some times.

I prefer it baked with less spices. I usually do salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Can't prepare Titus for now because my mom doesn't like it and this I was still hinting my sister today.

It isn't all my efforts all of the time as my wife also cooks when she's chanced. That said, I don't think most men that don't cook don't do so because of time. I think it is usually about interest and perhaps, circumstances. My wife usually works till 6pm or 7pm most days when she is scheduled. Do I expect her to drive home and then cook when I get back not later than 5:15pm? Wouldn't that be unreasonable if I know how to and just decide not to?

Cut, grill and make stew with them.

My type of fish. When I'm not eating wild salmon, it is my favorite. No dull moments when used in stews!

I have mine ready for sauce.
