eph12:He claimed to have played in the 343 system in Atlanta but so far, he's not shown any sign of that. He's so predictable. Duels... Zero, holdup... Zero. |

A serious club should have brought in one or 2 players for Amorim by now. Nothing good has come from that Jim Fuckface acquiring the club. Just another Glazer |

Leyqute:Considering the atrocious results prior to those games, those draws felt like wins o Good to see us grind out a win tonight, despite not playing particularly well... It's always easier to build on performances if the team is winning (either by hook or crook) The way we made Southampton look dangerous is worrisome though... |

Jamiuokolaa:Yep. We still have a long way to go. With this kind of display, I am no longer optimistic about beating Brighton this weekend. To avoid the avoidable heart burn and heartache, I just won’t watch that game. |

Ellexy: our players just be words and opposite. Once he good as sub, he go bad as starter |

The same coach who benched Amad Diallo is the one who also benched Cristiano Ronaldo. Imagine the wonders Ronaldo could have achieved if Ten Hag hadn’t been involved... GOD punish ten hag. |

Our attack is the reason we're in the bottom half deservedly. We're a bottom half team because that's where our attack can take us. |

DeadPresidents:Una don start. On the back of a few upcoming performances? Let us keep things modest with these young players. 120k is okay for now. Rashy and Martial's downfall was accelerated by the 250k they got so early in their careers. |

larride:Not it seems. He is already ahead of them. He is trying to hustle for starting spot now sef. Mainoo especially and maybe even Ugarte have to sit up. |

adebayo201:Kukonki is not a WB. He is a left footed CB that can also play LB in a 4 or LCB in a 3. |

Yoro eye see pepper today. That Sule man wan kill omo eye before he mature. ![]() Zirkzee changed the game for us. Amad won the game for us. Amad don dey creep up towards upper echelon levels but he was not very good until late in the game. We desperately need attack-minded WBs. Dreadful team performance. Let us just put it to post-extra time fatigue. |

afrodoc2:Mainoo needs to sit on the bench especially when we are playing the lower teams. His play is too lethargic to progress the ball and Amorim need to stop playing Bruno on the wings. It's killing our attacking threats. We've seen the experiment before, Bruno on the wings is a failed experiment. I'm not sure Collyer is ready to be a starter yet though. |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by afrodoc2: 3:42am On Jan 17, 2025 |
larride: Sooner or later, he will have to be given a chance to start and then we can see for sure. Mainoo needs to improve on his work rate and stamina. That is what his making him struggle. The technique and intelligence are there. You need to move quickly off the ball to be in position to receive the ball. He does not move quickly enough into position. You also need to move quickly out of possession to close down opposition attackers. He does not do that consistently enough. When Dibling turned Martinez in midfield Mainoo was meant to be the covering midfielder, but he kept jogging behind them. |

🚨 Amad Diallo becomes the first player to score a hat-trick for Manchester United since Cristiano Ronaldo. |

JUST IN: Napoli will send Manchester United an increased offer from their previous bid of £38m plus add ons for Alejandro Garnacho. [@AlfredoPedulla] |

Joezinho:You sha find a way to shook Ronaldo. The same coach won carabao cup and FA cup since he sent Cristiano packing. Outside of the friendly trophy, what has Ronaldo won in the desert he ran to? I don’t know how you want this club to grow but still keep holding on to Cristiano’s misadventures that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. I can understand Amad’s own. This is 2025, move on and hope Amorim helps rebuild. Even Cristiano has moved on and currently chasing his 1000 goals dream. |

Everybody, like every single soul involved in the Antony deal, starting from the person who recommended him, to the people who negotiated, the bankers that paid, the pilot that flew him to old Trafford and the fans that made video compilation of him, all of them should face prison time.. Long prison time with no option for fine or parole.. |

Ruben Amorim: “We have difficulties to press high in the moment. This team is not used to do that and then it seems like a lack of enthusiasm. Ugarte is late, Kobbie Mainoo is late, Bruno is going outside and the ball is inside. Then one transition and Yoro cannot catch the guy. It's small things and then we get nervous without the ball.” |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 6:28am On Jan 17, 2025 |
Rúben Amorim: “I want to be fair with my players. Today was not a lack of enthusiasm. It was a lack of speed and sometimes lack of control of the game.” |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 6:29am On Jan 17, 2025 |
Ruben Amorim on what he said to Amad Diallo in the locker room: "Nothing. He has to rest, eat well, we need him on Sunday. He did a very good job, but he has to focus on the next game, because this one is already in the past." |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 6:30am On Jan 17, 2025 |
Ruben Amorim: “Ugarte was really tired from the first minute, you could see when he ran for the ball. I have to help [players]. Sometimes we are tired not just the body but the mind.” |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 6:30am On Jan 17, 2025 |
Ruben Amorim on speaking with Sir Jim Ratcliffe after the game: “I had five minutes to talk about different things. The result helped the conversations. I know the fans want to see much better football than this but we need time.” |
| Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by Oasis007(m): 6:31am On Jan 17, 2025 |
Ruben Amorim: "We continue to do our job. It's a difficult time. The result was the most important thing today. I know the fans want to see much better football than this, but we need time. As I said on the first day, you have to win games to gain time." |
