The initial mistake can be corrected since money was raised by a particular content creator on tiktok. Money doesn't have to go to their account anymore, from the man in charge straight to the hospital account

I don't do business with you if I hear the word "pastor", I don't care to find out if the person is genuine or not.

If most Nigerians wanna scam you they either use religion or tradition.

They may have other medical bills incurred at hospital that were unpaid for.

Let's not be quick to judge them, that 2m can even finish on testing and the surgery prep before the actual surgery. It's good to hear from them too

So the person that helped in the fund raising was not able to ascertain what they used the money on within the two months that it was raised and the proof of expenditure?

Money that is not there's, is the child truly theirs?

The wife was she main culprit, from the video you can see the man was writing something and wanted to give little explanation and account but the wife won’t allow him. I bet you Dey have bought a land with the money and building a house together at the expense of the daughter

This is part of why I don't agree with fundraising that appeals to guilt and pity.

What if these people were engaged in some economic activity to raise the money? Who knows, perhaps they would have had some respect for the funds.

Just sitting back and receiving credit alerts for looking sorrowful isn't a sustainable model

Truth be told, many people posing as pastors prey on the ignorance of people to swindle them. This isn't new; even from the days of the apostles, these characters have always been there.

A good way to protect ourselves from being deceived is to take our personal Bible study seriously.

But of course, personal study takes time and effort. That's why whenever we just want "sharp-sharp" answers, we risk opening ourselves up to these "wolves in sheep's clothing"
