Modupe1981:I think this question is a big trap. Let me tell you why… you know mathematics will surely add up right? Ok let’s do this. I’m going to London and I budgeted 3M+ for my one week trip, guess what, they said No you can’t spend 3M on a week trip, because your disposable income won’t fit in. The amount doesn’t matter to them at least, what I think they look at is the effect of your proposed expenditure against your available funds. Imagine you say you wanna visits lots of attraction sights and me I said I wanna go see a family and chill with them, they expect you budget to be bigger, me I won’t pay for hotel and you will. So make sure your budget reflect your activities and events, if you copy and paste, they will look at your intended events and they look at the budgeted money, they will laugh. I learnt that very well in my previous refusal, but in all you do make sure you maximize. Even if you have money, they don’t want you to waste it on a visit, that’s what I’ve learnt also, let them know Omo I’ve things I’m doing with my money but I can bring this one out and it’s sufficient. That’s how me I see it. Know I know why they gave my cousin visa with 4M balance, it was the details they checked against his funds. |

davodyguy:Yeah, thank you so much. Was confused when i heard that if you are invited for graduation but couldn’t make it for that graduation , that you won’t be allowed to enter the UK with the same visa because the graduation has passed |

davodyguy:Quick one. You can take 2 boxes on 23kg each - the ticket is just more expensive. I'm talking about KLM and Air France. If you asked for the cheapest ticket, you will most likely be offered one which allows only one luggage. |

IGIG:Fill the visa for and declare the previous refusal. If you don't have details, state the year of the refusal and admit you don't have more details. It is not likely to affect your application if you are honest. |

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraphs) V4.2 of Appendix V because: You have applied to visit the UK for 13 days to visit family. You state you are employed as a Head of Administration with a monthly income of 1,215,000 NGN (£638). You state that you have a monthly expenditure of 700,000 NGN (£367). In support of this you have provided a bank statement from Zenith Bank in your name. Whilst I note this bank statement demonstrates that you are in receipt of your monthly salary; I also note you spend majority of it (and not 700,000 NGN) which leaves you with a significantly low balance each month. This contradiction in information damages the credibility of the current financial situation in your country of residence. I am therefore not satisfied you have given an accurate reflection of your current financial/employment circumstances in your country of residence. I further note, you accumulated a total income of 21,158, 134 NGN within 3 months. You therefore accumulated more than 15 times your monthly income. The source of these funds is unknown and are not in line with your monthly income. I am therefore not satisfied you have given an accurate reflection of your current financial circumstances in your country of residence. Given the above, I am therefore not satisfied that you have demonstrated your circumstances are as declared, which leads me to doubt your intentions in travelling to the UK. I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry for a purpose that is permitted under the visitor route and that you will leave the UK at the end of your visit. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V 4.2 (a) and (c) of the immigration rules. Rate of exchange £1 = [1,903 NGN] (reference www.oanda.com on [17/01/2025] I got this mail, what can i do |

whummy4:As much as I sympathise with you, I'll also blame you for allowing these people to 'eat' your $155 and VFS/TLS fee. 1. You said you're earning certain amount, yes they confirmed that. 2. You claimed that You only spend 700,000 but your monthly balance shows otherwise. 3. For someone that earns ₦1.2million monthly, hence in 6 months total inflow shouldn't exceed ₦1.2m *6 months = ₦7.2million. How come you allowed ₦21million pass your account? When we give advise or share testimonies here, some of us are not doing for show off, but to actually tell you what we did correctly. I always refer people to read my own post most times. I told them I earn certain amount monthly and I spend certain amount monthly. For 5 Months, that's exactly what entered my account, not even a kobo more and what I spend monthly, matches what I claimed. This is very important and what you did wrong. The ECO says he/she doubt credibility of your application, meaning Yiu lied to them. |

| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by davodyguy: 9:35pm On Jan 20, 2025 |
whummy4:Reapply in 8 months Use your salary account simply for salaries This January let there be a balance of ₦5m plus in the account as opening balance Then throughout February, don't let any other money enter that account, look for another account to receive other deposit. Spend only ₦700,000 in entire 27 days of February. Then collect February salary and in March, spend only 700,000 and don't let any other money enter that account. Do these until July ending, then apply in August, 2025 |

Modupe1981:You don’t need flight reservations for UK visit visa. They already know you are using airplane to travel. They want to see how much for the flight budgeted and how it fits in your budget. Those information are frivolous when they are considering applications, at least from my previous refusals. They have all the information, use Air Peace, BA, Qatar, Kenya Airways, Rwanda Air if you are so particular about flight reservations. |

whummy4:N700,000 monthly expense out of N1.2Million monthly salary is high. Over 6 months, that means you disposable income is N3million. How do you want to fund this trip of that disposable income? It's a potential red flag from my perspective... |

Oggg:He is not an agent but a genuine applicant. There are two of them on this thread that have been asking questions before i put in my application in November, got Visa, traveled and came back, with them yet to put in applications. Lol ![]() However, they are doing that because we also warned them not to repeat what made them fail initially, which is avoidable mistakes. I can understand the delay, they want to be extremely careful. Try buying property in the UK and see them delay for months. they even ask us sometimes where did we see the money we are using to buy and if it is not money Laundering. UK system is not what you can beat easily. You made money in Nigeria and purchased property with it. UK Government needs to know the job you do in Nigeria and how that job is able to give you 300,000 pounds (N600,000,000.00) to come buy a house. I wish them luck |
