yeah infatuation at first which can later develop to love. My thoughts tho

You can see someone and feel deeply attracted to them. Then U connect and the vibe is even more electric. There's just this strong instant connection and there are some U don't even feel a thing for them at first but due to familiarity, fondness comes in and u begin discover things about them u didn't see at first and fondness grows into something else a strong bond with each passing day.

So both situations happen it just depends on Ur own perception of it

I actually don't think that is the right word. I think the right word is "like". Infatuation is something you develop

I understand your point of view tho. Well love is a wide word which may mean different things at different situations. I can be strongly attracted to you but I might not care about getting to know you apart from that meeting.

Like all words, meaning of "love" depends on the situation. There is biblical "love everybody", etc.
But to be "in love" is specific. By "love at first sight" we actually mean "extremely like/attracted to at first sight"

It depends on the individual who you're falling in love it. Whether it's first sight or not make sure you make the right choice.

There is love at first sight, it's easy to fall inlove with someone in ur first encounter.
Falling inlove is easy, maintaining it is the problem

And U may also realize he's exactly what he portrays and a lot more beautifully. Attraction begets feelings and emotions and all these translates to romance and what U call love. Even the one U claim is the real one because it's not sudden are just same feelings of emotions and can not even be real. Most times they're just fondness and then U begin to feed Ur heart and mind with ideas because of familiarity, attention and closeness with such a person coupled with certain characters here and there which will also aid in heightening the emotions U choose to call love. It's just fondness and then start seeing them as people U can trust,.U begin to let Ur guards down, sharing intimate information with them, releasing urself and surrendering to the emotional and physical support he provides, u begin to assume the bond is special when in reality he's just showing u what he wants u to see so that he can keep enjoying what he's getting out of u and more as u ease up on everything with him. That is how life is and the emotions y'all call love. It's all in Ur head and mind and it will grow so long as it's being nurtured and fed by one or both of U for as long as U let it be. True love is more than just emotional and U can find it anywhere anyhow. It doesn't matter if it's by attraction or by fondness. It is more based on sacrifices and tolerance than butterflies in Ur belly. Love is conscious and takes efforts, it's not the fairytale whirlwind that Hollywood sells. It is more than all of those things.

Also, romantic love, real romantic love, is not conscious. It is something that dawns on you is there and it makes you feel very good and the world beautiful. But it is not something you can willfully produce otherwise we'll all be in romantic love all the time - because it is a beautiful feeling!

Indeed it is a beautiful feeling and then it fades away at some point, it gets cold at others... that is why I used conscious and efforts in the same sentence I mean it takes efforts, conscious efforts to keep it alive and if U think otherwise then Ur probably dreaming up fairytales and fantasies which I don't oppose as it's how most women choose to see it. That is why most of ladies who aren't so emotionally intelligent just up and leave instead of working and putting in efforts when the butterflies in their belly doesn't feel like it used to. And then they move on to the next and so on till they get wasted.

That being said. Love at first sight happens wether U agree or not. There are millions of people who will tell U they met someone and instantly knew they were the one! And it worked out fine for them. So yes U can be in love with someone U just met! If U read my contributions U will see unlike U I never disputed the fact that love can come in any way because in reality there's no real definition of how love is supposed to come. Wether by first sight or by fondness it comes either way.

You can believe what U will but it still doesn't change the truth that people fall in love in diverse circumstances and not just only how U believe it. First sight, fondness, friendships etc love is a complex feeling. Instant attraction, emotional connection or chemistry it happens either ways

Then again... Except U choose to live a lie, it's common knowledge that nothing lasts forever and emotions and feelings of "love" aren't left out of it. It will always take conscious efforts to sustain it. Lol I really have o laugh at U now ( no offence) So U found "that kind of love" no bother to put in efforts daily to show him u care or appreciate him, no bother to even care for urself anymore based on ur "that kind of love"

Na Ur type dey make man wake up one morning and realize that this isn't the woman I fell in love with! U must put in efforts in everything with love and consciously too. Efforts with Ur, character by maintaining Ur values, efforts with Ur looks, attitude, romance, caring for Ur partner as against taking them for granted because U know they love U with "that kind of love" and the lists goes on...

Everything in life is a process some process faster than others and that doesn't determine it's durability or genuineness of nature. In the end life is whatever U chose to make of it.

when you love at sight, that is infatuation/lust, love usually grows over time, gets to peak and starts declining, wen reducing, it might get to a certain level and remain like that, till death and in some cases, it might completely faded.

For infatuation, you will see the person at sight, find every means to get him/her, after succeeded in sleeping with him/her, the feeling dry off.
