Hello house Please after doing medical, what do I do? Will I send the sheet via a webform? Or wait for the hospital to send my results to IRCC? |

Good morning House. Please I am for May 2025 intake at fanshwe college Ontario Canada but I'm yet to submit my visa application because of some documents i need to re-arrange. Although I intend on submitting it this week or early nextweek. Is this an issue or something I need to be worried about? Or will I meet up with the May 2025 intake? Thank you. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Bobomaigida: 10:27am On Jan 23, 2025 |
Kaykaychizzy:Make sure your PAL is valid before submitting, cos all PAL earlier issue expired 21st Jan. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Kaykaychizzy: 10:48am On Jan 23, 2025 |
Bobomaigida:Thank you for the prompt response. Asides submitting a valid PAL, I won't have an issue with my visa application by submitting the application this week or early nextweek right and be able to get a visa decision before the May 2025 intake? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 12:12pm On Jan 23, 2025 |

Bobomaigida:I submitted my application on the 21st, which was the same day of my PAL expiration. Matter of fact there was no 21st prompt on the PAL date, so I chose 22nd and submitted on that same 21st. Will this cause any issues with my application? Is there anything I can do? |

Why did you wait till expiration date? These things requires a lot of intentionality and planning if you want to come out in success. All the best. Adekanyin39: |

Hi house. Please I will appreciate advice and encouragement from everyone. I am got admitted to Usask for fall2025. I am a private school teacher earning 60k every month. I am just determined to pull out from poverty. I want to start this January to prepare for visa application. I hope to use empower to cover the tuition. Use PoF runs to sort the other expenses. Please I really need all the advise and guidelines to achieve this target. I have no land or any asset whatsoever. I have learnt data analytics to equip myself for this. I want to start early to get ready. Also my dob in transcript from uni is different from passport dob. Will this affect me.?. |

Adekanyin39:You can check your portal to see when your application was acknowledged to have been submitted and compare with the deadline give for PAL expiry. The grace is that we are some hours ahead so you might have meant the deadline. |

Hello guys, I need some advice The issue I got accepted in to a 9 months program in Canada, a DLI school, I heard it's difficult getting a study permit for 1 year programs, also I'm pretty sure I do not have the proof of fund, my brother is the one sponsoring me, he's a permanent resident in US and works there, his wife works as a nurse, they'll both be sponsoring me if necessary, and are ready to sign a notorized letter of sponsorship.. I'm very pessimistic about this and I've put on hold paying acceptance fee till when I can get some clarity regarding if my brothers statement of account will the sufficient for proof of fund and if I even have a chance with the program being a year.. Any one with advice and/or information is appreciated |

1. I heard it's difficult getting a study permit for 1 year programs - I don't think there is any truth to that 2. my brother is the one sponsoring me, he's a permanent resident in US and works there, his wife works as a nurse, they'll both be sponsoring me if necessary, and are ready to sign a notorized letter of sponsorship.. - Yes you can use your brother as your sponsor. Things you should do when it comes to POFs - Let your brother send you the complete money for your course to your account. i.e Tuition Fees (If it's 2 terms, he can send the complete first semester fees ) and Living expenses for one year. Make sure when he sends this to you, the description clearly state8the purpose of the money e.g ( 1st Semester School Fees Payment 2024/2025 session for Tobi Adesuwa). To back this up, do a gift deed of the amount. Then You can submit your brother's Employment Letter. This is to prove to IRCC your brother source of income. You can also submit his bank Statement too. Lastly, in your SOP, amongst other things, clearly states how this course would benefit you especially when you return back home to Nigeria. Clearly state what you intend to do with the course you would be taking over in Canada and the economical value it would bring. Also don't forget to reiterate how much your brother has been supportive of your education and how he has always been there for you. Remember to submit proof of relationship (birth certificate would suffice) I wish you good luck dzionyte: |

Dear All, I applied for my daughter's study permit as she is 6 years old. I used my husband's account and we have been asked to provide his statement from August till January through mybankstatement. How does mybankstatement work with liened amount? Before i printed the statement of account i attached on her application, the bank unliened the amount and it was showing in my husband's statement of account. I am kind of confused. If the bank releases the funds into my husband's available balance before processing the mybankstatement, will the total amount be visible to the embassy? because the bank will place a lien on the amount after the process is completed. Please help clarify. Thanks |

Jeboy:Thank you for taking the time to respond. I just got my PAL, on the 9th January, So time was kind of tight, trying to cross all T’s, and dot the i’s. I’m trusting God that all will be well |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Adekanyin39: 6:07am On Jan 25, 2025 |
Bobomaigida:The Application was sent and acknowledged on the 21st, my only concern is that part on the portal where you put your PAL expiration date; we choose 22nd because 21st wasn’t on the option prompt anymore. |

It's a good plan, but financial readiness is vital using the school route, Mpower will take care of your tuition if you get approved, living expenses is another thing you need to prepare yourself for. You need to plan this adequately before embarking in this journey. biggal: |

Same process, just the way the lien was removed before printing out the SOA the same way they should remove the lien before processing the MBS and sent to the ircc, while you upload the ticket number on your portal. Enyny: |

1. The 9-month program is eligible for a visa, if you meet the requirements your study permit will be approved. 2. Your brother should send the funds to you or he should pay the tuition fee, while you upload the receipt originating from him and provide his SOA with the required amount while you as the PA should submit your SOA let some amount be in your acct. your brother and is wife should co-sign a sponsorship letter, notatrized over there in the USA, with employment documents and legal status document. dzionyte: |
