From my experience, Lizards in Nigeria never became crocodiles abroad. It is easy for those who are already successful in Nigeria to become more successful abroad. There are lots of homeless white people born abroad so, it's not like you are picking money from the floor.

It is the fault of the government though the parents share a part of the blame. Kids from poor homes abroad find it very easy to get part-time jobs sometimes, even helping their parents. The country is only interested in opening more churches and reason the kids are turning to drugs and crime.
