It’s United’s fault. These people are business men who intend to maximize profit. It’s been all over the media for over a year how desperately we intend to sign a LB. United always delay in signing players until when we desperately need them. Once demand for something is high, the price goes up eg they won’t replace Onana now until they desperately need to

Our purported strong interest makes it seem like the manager and the recruitment team have seen something we are not seeing. Hopefully he turns out good.

The way we have been signing "upcoming" players for big money of recent, has been annoying tbh..

Again, Our current "big club... lack of clout" status would most likely mean we overpay for players - it's the unfortunate truth!

Amass is out of the picture. We are going to sell him for PSR.

He is another potential loser in the tactical change. I don’t think he has the engine to play WB the way Amorim wants it. I think Alvaro Fernandez would have the same problem if we recalled him so that is also dead on arrival.

We are going for physical specimens like Dorgu and Diego Leon rather than technicians. Amass and Alvaro are both technicians. If we buy Drogue that would likely make Amass 3rd choice LB.

Mantato and maybe Kamason are the best suited for Amorin’s system. Another option is converting a winger like Ethan Williams.

Ajax used to be one of my favourite clubs in Europe since Finidi and Kanu played there under LvG. But the way they packaged Antony and gba'd us with that amount of money really left a bitter taste.
