I visited the area for a project and couldn't help but notice that every weekend, everyone seemed to be planning visits to one bar or another. Young men were discussing which hotel to stay at and which women to spend time with, all while their governor is embezzling funds and neglecting the state's future. There's a lack of key infrastructure, and even basic necessities like drinking water are brought in from Delta State or Rivers State. It's truly a shame.
