Akizeh:Standard visa takes 15 working days. You start counting from the following day you did capturing at VFS. If after 15 working days, you did not get a visa, you can do a paid call |

Cashmadam:@ Cashmadam thanks for ur response I got that price at booking.com, there charges is very low, besides the hotel is £20 per night,am spending just 3days,it a trip for business partnership. About adding two wifes, to be sincere I currently spend 300k for monthly expenses on my two wife's,or I should just use one wife and state in my introduction letter that I have two wife's that if my visa is granted I can not run away because I have a lot of responsibility on my neck. |

Good day every one,I am new here and I have learnt alot already thanks to all the contributors. I am thinking of starting my application next week. I am still gathering the necessary documents for my application. Please are there any affordable hotels close to church gate street at Victoria Island Lagos. Thank you for your response |

Cashmadam:Could you please just say yes to all his questions and tell him to apply? This has dragged on too long, and there’s really nothing anyone can say that will deter him from applying for the visa, regardless of any red flags or his multiple previous refusals. It will always be one thing and a different story the next time as long as you start letting him know his application is weak. Home office would tell that he can do his 3 day meeting over ZOOM, TEAMS and several internet platforms via video. So that we can all try to pls move on. Thank you so much. |

tayolydia:Firstly, indicate how much is on your offer letter and explain all these information on additional information box. Secondly, since you have not used the CAC certificate for anything, I'll advise you stick to stick to company employment. Lastly, I'll advise you attach the bank statement you usually move funds from to those investment accounts. It would suffice to print the statement (if possible) from piggyvest & the stock sheet. |

Cashmadam:As if you read my mind. Does he have the income to support what he claims? As self employed, I'm sure you need to submit your business account along with your personal statement. This is to show origin of funds in his account |

onile1975:Your chances of being granted are very slim judging by your immigration record with Home Office. Also you also don't need to mention you have two wives, except if you've previously applied and mentioned them as your dependent. Otherwise, stick to the first wife that had refusal with you and your kids. UKVI don't need to know that you have 10 wives. Do you have any dependant? Yes, mention just the wife that was refused and your kids You also need to be convincing that you're needed physically in the conference, otherwise virtual participation is an option to save you over a £1000 pounds. Bro, forget UK and try SA first, then France. If God blesses you more, let UK be your third A list country. But I'm sure you're not going to listen, as your mind is made up and ready to give UKVI another $155 |

davodyguy:@ Davodyguy thank you I like ur response is for my own good God will bless you 10years a go I was refused with my first wife in 2015, two years after I got married with second wife, the second wife had 3kids for me,there ages are 8years, 6yrs and 3yrs, Is there going to be red flags to use her? Lastly, it's not a conference, I want you to educate me on what travel purpose I will call it. Am selling iPhone and Android phone, Nigeria use, I met a u k mobile phone company online and we started chatting, I told them that I want to be there distributor in Nigeria, they ask me to send money and place order for goods,I said no, because I don't no if they are scammers, they said I can visit them to believe they are not scammer, they sent me invitation letter.so pls what type of travel purpose can I call this visit? but I put for business partnership,is it okay |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by davodyguy: 1:26am On Jan 26, 2025 |
onile1975:Do you want to hear the truth? Please forget UK for the next couple of years. This sounds like desperation. You don't need to travel to UK to become partner or distributor. I've never been to China and the closest I got to China, was Hong Kong in 2015, but I've spent $thousands of dollars buying goods from China. I bought all building fittings in my house from China (The post can be found in 2021 in the property sector) Students that paid School fees get denied, how much more you that wants to to become a partner of a company whose turnover may not even be worth £1,000,000 P/A I have no further advice to you on this UK till further notice. Forget UK Forget UK Forget UK Forget UK Forget UK Forget UK Forget UK Forget UK If you've not travelled out of Nigeria before, disvirgin your passport with SA, Kenya, Rwanda or Tanzania. Then try France(the easiest route to Europe) alternatively, try Qatar or Oman. After any of the above options, come back to try UK. If you want to waste your money that would better serve you and the innocent wives you have and your kids, then ignore UK. But if you have money to waste, continue on this mission. I'm done answering you on anything UK Good morning |

For a child that is 16 years and some months applying for UK visa, will she be required to get Concerning Police Character Certificate? If yes, can it be done in any state? |

He isn't discouraging you. He is being honest with you. You can either listen to someone who has (successfully) applied for visas from several countries OR you can proceed with your application. The choice is yours. P.S. Lincoln ran for president only once. onile1975: |

onile1975:Dear Mr. Onile/Mrs. Modupe, Jolene(Jonele) 1 million was not denied 5 times. It is a simon…. that was denied 5 times and he did not reapply. He told us he made an official complaint at the 5th time with reasons… and the refusal was overturned and he was asked to submit his passport. Also prior to this he had successfully acquired a valid USA visa at the time of the complaint and then prior Schenghen visas. If you can avoid derailing the thread, it would be beneficial to all. Do find the link below to apply for your UK visa. https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor/apply-standard-visitor-visa |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Jolene474(f): 5:23pm On Jan 26, 2025 |
onile1975:Hahaha, it’s not as it seems, I have a lot of travel history and that’s why I felt entitled about the visa, on top that they still denied me and luckily it was their mistake I used to enter them and wrote the Home Office, My testimony came with a brutal refusal also and I think from what they told you, you needed a tight profile and from their observation, your personal and financial circumstances cannot do the trick.. You try to change course from business visa or do visit shows you are been blown around in the winds of thoughts and don’t go gift them free $155. Cuz they will gladly take it. Listen to what they have told you, brush up your financial, this is the way those Visa Officer think, you have not been to the UK before, I don’t know if you have travelled extensively but saying you going to the UK for 3 days, they will just laugh. That alone they will just put “you can’t spend this amount on a short trip” that’s all. It’s good to be determined, but check your circumstances well and give it time, you can order small or send someone you know to go check the office, those are all means to avoid this 3 day trip. That’s how they think. But if you are convinced you want to then proceed, nobody is stopping you, they are only using their experience to guard you, that’s all. Best wishes. |

[quote author=onile1975 post=133886576]@ jonele474 thanks, and Gurus in the house I need guidance on my case Because of what you say about 3days trips I have stopped it and decide to go for a week holiday, actually my last refusal was 10years ago and the reason was account irregularity, now I am tiding my account so that I can reapply this year, but two things have changed in my application record (1) my job 2) I married new wife My job change from salary eaner of 200k to a business man of monthly income of 1m naira 2) I married new wife and I want to use these new wife and her children for family tie, What I need is how can I do 7days holiday budget that will not exceed my 3months disposable income of 700k I really do not know how you are going to do it but 700,000 naira is not much for a man with a wife and kids. A single individual spends up to 300k in a month, how then can a family with kids spend same amount. Not imputing your previous marriage as well. How much will you use to go to holiday and come back and care for your extensive family, your family is a great asset most times but in this your situation I would be considered as a set back to your finance, and if an officer with the knowledge of Nigeria economy see it, you will pay school fees and feeding, how then can you spend 300k on a wife and 3 kids, look it up again. If you really want a holiday, go to Kenya 🇰🇪. Go online and fill the Kenya E-Visa form, book your flight and go relax for a week, it will be cheaper and Kenya is cold as well. It will give you London vibes, you can’t fit in that budget considering your family size and your responsibilities. That’s my best advice. I hope it helps |
