Toke Makinwa Calls Out 2Face Idibia for Announcing Divorce Amid Annie’s Backlash, Slams His Timing and Lack of Empathy"

Media personality Toke Makinwa has once again taken a bold stance, calling out 2Face Idibia for his controversial decision to publicly announce his divorce from Annie Idibia during a time when Annie is already facing public criticism. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

In her latest post, Toke expressed her disappointment in the singer, emphasizing that while leaving a toxic situation is valid, his choice of timing was insensitive and added fuel to the negative narrative surrounding Annie.

Toke didn’t mince words, stating:
“Nobody is asking anybody to stay in a situation that’s no longer serving them. By all means, leave if you must. But why bring this online at such a delicate time?

She highlighted how Annie is already dealing with a barrage of public opinions and stressed that 2Face, being fully aware of what’s happening behind closed doors, should have exercised empathy.

Toke further berated him for his actions, adding:
“You preach love constantly, but your actions contradict the message. Timing is everything, and empathy is everything. Why add to the chaos when you know the truth will eventually come out?”

That Annie looks like a very toxic person.. she knows the man she married is a star and will have friends. She is the type that'll be monitoring the Innocent man's calls and who he is seeing, when and at what time.

If separation will make things better, they should part ways and allow the world rest.

Despite knowing that Anne is a problem, they have started guilt shaming the poor man already., ah ah.

When I read Toke's outburst on social media, it confirmed my earlier submission, that, "Toke and Tiwa as close friends to Annie, a married woman. Is a journey to toxic marriage and eventually, single motherhood". But for some people here, they are saying contrary.

If Toke could go social media and tear Tuface apart on marital issue,not directly concerns her, more so, by calling out (incite) other celebrities who yet to speak up. (to come out and attack 2baba)

I can imagine,how she would have be poisoning Annie's mind against her husband and in-laws.

Nobody who knows Tuface has anything bad to say about him. Tuface does not beef anybody, he’s not a clout chaser who would run to the internet over minor things.

The divorce post wasn’t exactly tactful, and very unusual of him. However, I am compelled to give him the benefit of the doubt. He announced it on social media for a reason. Annie looks like the kinda of person to kpai herself to implicate Tuface.

The same Toke that wrote a full book about her divorce is offended someone put out a post. Yeye.
