The leaders will see the video and ignore it. Besides, they and their children get medical treatment outside the country. Until they ban foreign trips, we are not ready for the best in this country.
When the best president we have had, Jonathan saw a similar video he did not ignore it.

President Jonathan pays surprise visit to Police College Ikeja.

President Goodluck Jonathan made a surprise stop over in Lagos on his way to the Ivory Coast for an Ecowas meeting on events in Mali.

In Lagos, he undertook a tour of the Police College Ikeja, which has recently received negative reports in the media.

New Pictures Of Work Going On At The Once Abandoned Police College Ikeja

A friend drove by the college this morning and sent me these pictures of work going on at the one time abandoned police college/training school that GEJ promised to renovate as soon as possible. It appears someone is keeping his word after all. Nice. Hope dey, guys.
( Look at the work going on within the fence. Like in the first pic, a carpenter is working on the roof)

If he is trying to correct the ills in the hospital he was showcasing, he should write to medical director on the deficiencies before coming to the social media to broadcast. This doctor lacks professional etiquettes

If your leaders are not serious about primary healthcare they are wasting their time...Aproko Doctor

I have been saying this for years.

If your leaders have not improved and provided the first 4 Sustainable Development Goals, they are wasting their time.

1. No Poverty
2. Zero Hunger
3. Good Health and Wealth Being
4. Quality Educaton.

You can praise flyovers and call it development but it is a joke.

He that builds the city without first building the man, builds the city in vain.

Nobody cares.
The politicians do not give a damn, because they do not go to our public hospitals.
When you go to all the Federal medical center in Abuja, you will understand why the political elites do not go to our public hospitals.
That is why when they are sick, they go to London and die there and then they bring their corpse back to Nigeria to be buried.
They have long destroyed NIGERIA.
What we have now is the last NIGERIA.

This is the case in most primary health care in most states in Nigeria. We really need to demand more from governors and local government chairmen. If you've not been to a primary health care center in Nigeria you'll not understand.
If not madness, please, how can one explain why a health care center shouldn't have 24 hours power.

Bank toilets in Nigeria are cleaner than government hospital toilets

Bank toilets in Nigeria have a pleasant odor while government hospital toilets have a very unpleasant odor.

Let me not get started on comparing the looks of both.

Let's be constructive in our criticism!

Everything is not leaders but we the followers!

Why not mention the specific PHCs?

Call them out as many of them are doing good!

Which one is we the followers?

We are talking that leaders should invest more in critical areas of development, you are saying we the followers.

We need all Federal, States and Local Government leaders to take critical areas like healthcare, education, agriculture and job creation seriously. They should act fast on it. What concerns we the followers in this discussion?

Buhari's 8years of purposeless rulership destroyed all sectors, including health sector!

Thank God for the able leadership of Prof Pate of Tinubu's government who's trying hard to fix things. With the steps he has taken so far, he'll surely succeed in improving our health sector. He just needs to stay focused on the goals and also extend his efforts towards improving the regulatory agencies under the ministry of health.

Let's give credit to those who are doing well, abeg.

It’s truly shocking. The health sector is almost completely destroyed, and our government couldn’t care less.

Many of us who chose to stay wonder whether we made a mistake.

"he highlighted the deplorable conditions of many health facilities, emphasizing the risks posed to women and newborns due to the substandard state of these centers" The quoted part of the article is where I called bullshit and quickly understand that this is more agenda/narrative driven rather than a genuine call for action. "Women and newborns" as if men don't use hospitals or they are immune to healthcare decay.

The two most dangerous places in Nigeria is the hospital and a police station, you can only tell when you're getting in there you can't say when you're going out.
Glimpsetv:
Nigerian medical professional Chinonso Egemba, popularly known as Aproko Doctor, has raised serious concerns about the poor state of primary healthcare centers across the country.

In a video shared on Monday, he highlighted the deplorable conditions of many health facilities, emphasizing the risks posed to women and newborns due to the substandard state of these centers. According to him, the environment, which should provide a safe and reassuring space for childbirth, is instead fraught with challenges that endanger lives.

He further lamented the lack of essential medical supplies necessary to improve childbirth experiences. Adding to this, an employee at one of the facilities revealed that during nighttime deliveries, the absence of electricity forces women to rely on the torch lights from their phones.

Aproko Doctor called on the government to prioritize the renovation and proper equipping of primary healthcare centers, which he described as the foundation of any effective healthcare system. He stressed that the issue transcends individual medical practitioners and is a collective problem that requires all Nigerians to demand better healthcare standards.

"Our leaders can and should do better," he stated, adding, "Primary healthcare centers are the backbone of any serious country's healthcare system. It is our responsibility as citizens to push for improved healthcare services."

I believe that even when equipment and supplies are provided, they'll not be maintained and most movable ones will be stolen.
It's a risk to give birth in such a hospital. Hygiene is zero, no toilet, no blood bank, probably no gynaecologist in case of complications

Definitely not in my part of Lagos... In this part of Lagos, there are standard healthcare centres with very professional nurses... There's even one close to Iyana-Ipaja named Mudashiru Obasa Health Centre that haven't been opened yet

There's another one at Opeolu street in Papa Ashafa, named Odumbakun, I think, manned by very professional nurses in a clean, cool environment...

Yes, a lot of them might be in deplorable states, but let's appreciate the ones doing well
