If bids keep failing like this, it's better one goes with secondary market then. Please, whi has the rate for 365 primary and secondary. Let me compare and contrast. |

Stanbic IBTC has just introduced a DIY platform (a website called blunest(dot)stanbicibtcassetmanagement(dot)com) where you can invest in Mutual Funds, TB, CP, local and foreign bonds when and where available. You guys should look out for it. |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nakedman: 1:03pm On Jan 28, 2025 |
freeman67:I got the information in my mail but taking patience to see if anyone is using it yet. That's a good step forward from stannic ibtc |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by freeman67: 1:26pm On Jan 28, 2025 |
Nakedman:Yes. They sent the message to all their existing customers. All existing Asset Management customer can log in with their details without creating new account. It just came on board so you may not find users immediately. For now (as at last night) it's only 3 TB's offers that's displayed there. Then you also access your existing Mutual Funds and subscribe new ones from there. |

heavenisreal18:Instead of investing in a fixed deposit, do MMF. FD is the last resort like it's not worth it. |

| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Allboiz: 10:40am On Jan 29, 2025 |
freeman67:While trying to go through Tbills on the app, I observed they won't pay you an upfront interest. Any info about this? |
| Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by freeman67: 11:15am On Jan 29, 2025 |
Allboiz:I don't know why they designed it that way. However, it's simple Just calculate it yourself and remove what's to be the upfront. Personally I like it that way. It's a form of reinvestment of interest with the investment and it will make you get exact yield. |
